It’s not, those little things on the snare are snare weights for dampening. Much like moon gel but less messy and more durable!

Nice! Is the kick sound in the video from the mic? I hear the trigger in the background but it sounds like a Shure beta 52a or some equivalent in the vid. Sounds killer, just wondering.

It’s all EAD audio so it picks up both the trigger and natural kick sound and blends them accordingly 😃
