    He’s right that this piece needs a lot more raw energy from the conductor, but you can also overdo it. The way he conducts is physically undoable for a lenghty piece

    Great music, but the way Adams treats Canellakis doesn't look great, at least from seven years later.

    I like a lot of Adams' music, but I really don't like Adams at all.

      why not? he seems fine to me, this is his own composition, ofcourse he has strong ideas about how it should be performed and conducted
