That Kai player would absolutely run every copy of Overlord in his deck if he could and he'd get to use them all in one fight
If you told me that the game is coded in a way that lets Overlord decks hit double trigger for the playing as "Kai Experience," I'd almost believe you. It's hilarious how often it looks and feels like that sometimes.

It's not the true Kai experience until you check four or more triggers in a row in the same turn.
@natchu96 it's hilarious when this happens even when losing to it sometimes as long as it doesn't happen non stop.
Every time I play Overlord with Kai, I only check one offensive crit per game. 😢
full dlc price is 100% worth it... $65.49 for 6 months is cheaper than MMORPG subscriptions and you only need to buy base game once (no expansion)... for me i make decks for every single nation, everything that's viable or that catches my interest and I can't not justify the price of the DLC... it's so fair compared to other games
Yeah, it looks scary for a lot off people so I get the complaints.
I have been saving up but dlc pass 2 got released and even with just 1 extra set I am having so much fun knowing the next few will be free and one day I can get the first.
Considering I am rather busy with school work and stress management I don't have much time, getting back into vanguard irl, finding a local store that sells or has players nearby and have the time to go there is rather impractical and difficult for me so I feel like I get a lot out of the dlc although I do have to say up for it it's still much cheaper then getting back into it irl.
I am fine with it, it's just hard recommending it to people who are on the fence for the game, but I got several people to at least show some interest irl.
This deck doesn't need Draw Triggers, since it already has built-in draws and can deck out easily. Instead, Front benefits it much more. I don't run Draws in decks that can easily deck themselves out. It's like running the Keter OT in a Keter deck with a lot of draw power - you could deck yourself out easily if you pull the OT at the wrong time, ending up using its effect.
I have noticed this to with quite a few decks, although depending on how aggressive the deck is early on I still consider a few sometimes because it can help a lot.
But for a lot off decks I also do this because it is scary when you notice you often end in a game where you have to plan 2 turns ahead to make sure you end up with 1 card and not take damage despite being at 3/4 damage just because otherwise you cantattavk with vangaurd, it feels really satisfying to win like that but if you still have your OT or a draw in deck it's so scary, I love that about deck building though :D.

Overlord the legend had 6 swords only. Overlord the great had 2 only (and two giant arms) Overlrod the "X" and Ace both had giant flaming swords and Overlord the destiny had 4 swords

if not for the massive amount of misplays it probably would've been fine. you missed rockargours skill every time to get +10k. that's extra shield you're getting out of hand or forcing a hit.

Maaaannnn it's true when you go against a player Kai skin they always get those Heal triggers and all the TRIGGER on top of that! I always thought it was my imagination, but I think you just confirmed that Kai skin on any player just gives them that OPness! Sorry for your bad luck, but it was also hilarious to watch! LOL

I forgot that as soon as you show no card in deck you'll lose. Unlike Yugioh in which you only lose due to deck out is when you cannot draw. Basically, if you have no card in deck and you would draw but can't draw you lose. But if you have 1 card in deck and you draw and you have nothing in deck you do not lose.

Correct, you need the DLC to be able to have any sort of access or even craft
