On this walk we walk from Hampton, past the many sights of Herne Bay, and along the beaches to Reculver!

I've just discovered your videos and I really enjoy them. I'm In nz but my ancestors were from Kent!! My 5 or 6 x grandfather was a rector at the st Mary's church in reculver. The ruins you visited today!! He was Thomas clendon so thanks for the walk...I don't know if I will ever visit but at least I can see it through your eyes!! Thank you!!

Nice one Sidders, some wildcampers have slept around the towers, must be brilliant looking up at the towers at night, look forward to your next walk...ATB Chris.
If you're ever at the towers, with a good sunset, the atmosphere is just amazing. I can just imagine all the stars you could see, at night, with it being away from the town!

Ooh I’m guessing you’ll find shark teeth at first second! I’ve found shark teeth and 1 fish vertebra here. If u missed it if your daring to walk to Folkestone there’s a beach you can find ammonites there
I've seen shark teeth here in the past, didn't find any on this walk though. Is exciting when you do spot them!
I shall have to keep a look out when we get to Folkestone in this series! 😄
(: there’s plenty of ammonites there but no shark teeth. To sum sharks teeth they are very black at beltinge with a grey blade that can be shiny. You could also find fish vertebra too but u have to be very experienced for finding that at a place like beltinge as I only found 1 in the area and there’s not common
The place for Folkestone ammonites is called Copt point.
