Kuta beach is a wave beach, usually most just play or bath in the ocean at kuta. I wouldn't say any of the main tourist beaches are great, if you want beautiful beaches you must go to Uluwatu. I will be showing some nice beaches in the coming weeks. Double 6 beach is very popular at sunset at restaurant/ bar areas like La plancha. Jerman beach the ocean there is usually more calm.
