I have to say, that despite Jupiter being a gas giant its still speculative to believe it has a rocky core, and even if it doesn't the sheer pressure, is enough to make metallic hydrogen, which is solid. So eventually assuming you could survive the crushing pressure of 100's of 1000's of atmospheres you would land on a surface dense enough to stand on.
0:47 Nope, pretty sure most of the meteors that could potentially hit Mercury just hits the sun instead, since it’s so close to the sun that it’s gravity gets basically overwritten by the suns.
3:11 sharks are like the worst example you could’ve chose for deadly wildlife since they don’t even have much of a reason to attack you other than a curiosity bite or you imitating their actual prey
But how does one define "curiosity" when it comes to sharks when there are people who have been attacked by sharks and some of them have claimed they did nothing?
All that dangerous stuff on Mars and yet people seem to really believe we can just colonize it and make the atmosphere suitable for humans to live in. Which is funny, since the atmosphere on Earth was once suitable for humans to live in and no one seems to know or care how to make it that way again.
A lot of people wanna colonize mars because it’s the best candidate if we ever want to colonize space and sometimes humans need some optimistic goal to look to. Technology doesn’t develop if there isn’t a lofty goal in mind. Humans tend to always look at the next frontier. Colonizing mars is possible, and it’s possible with technology we already have, but making it economically viable is where the research gets done and that same research is used to heal our own planet.
