I spent the afternoon colouring with you, using my Pitt pens , along with pastel pencils. I’m colouring in Debbie Macomber’s Come Home to Color. I absolutely love that these pens don’t bleed through most paper. Thanks so much for keeping me company! 🌺🌺
Thank you so much for swatching and demonstrating these Pitt pens , I was just checking them out on Amazon and have added them to my wish list 🙂 your videos are awesome! Have a wonderful day and happy coloring!
Thank you so much for swatching all the colors! I'd been looking all over UA-cam for a video to see all the colors in the 60 pack and I was in despair when I finally stumbled upon your video. Thank you so much. I'm going to order a set soon and your video helped me with that decision. Love all the colors.
Donna I have been watch your channel and I am a gel pen lover too I do look forward to seeing some of your new videos !!! I have just recently seen your swatch book and I finally ordered one to keep all of my colors in!!! 🦄🦄🤩❣️❣️❣️❣️
Donna, ALL FC products with that green packaging match in terms of colours. So not just the Polychromos, but also their watercolour pencils and the pastel pencils, etc. Absolutely brilliant! Love this video, by the way, it was the last push I needed to buy the Pitt pens xx
I’ve had the Pitt Pens on my wish list for a long time, mainly to use for my mixed media but I can see me using them to colour with too! Thanks for the video, love the way it turned out xxx💕
Excellent video! I have been straight coloring with my Pitt Pens for years. I also use the Big Brush Pens. I used my Prisma pencils more for sketching and working in my art journals. It’s only recently that I have been trying to improve my color pencil skills.
Hi, I've had a wonderful evening with you. I had been searching for opinions on Pitt Pens and came across your channel. You have a very soothing gentle voice and your thoughts on the Pitt Pens mirror my own. I have a 24 pen set and have bought another 15 to add to that. Do you know that Faber Castell has come out with 6 metallic Pitt Pens? In any case thanks for the relaxing evening and your mandala is very striking.
Thanks for sharing! I love the colors and that they match the Polychromos pencils. I have a small set of the Pitt Fineliners that I picked up at Michaels using a 40% off coupon one day. I haven't used them much, but I planned on using them in the Johanna Basford style books. I have a small set of the brush pens coming from Amazon. Actually I have two identical sets coming...not sure how I managed that. It's not going to be worth sending back so I'll just put them up for later. I'll probably work on getting the full set after I finish my Tombow set. While watching/listening to this video I've been coloring a picture in Jade Summer's "Cute Cats" using my Derwent Inktense pencils. I got the idea from Michelle over at Color, Chats and Cats. This book has some of the simpler line art so it's good practice. I get overwhelmed with too much detail while learning a new medium.
Hello, Donna. I picked up a 12-pack a while ago and when I tried them out I found I did love them. I also find I need to wait until I use up at least one of my alcohol marker sets and one of my water marker sets before investing in the full set, the full and beautiful set, of the Pitt pens.
Hey Donna! I have the 48 set of Pitt Pens, at the time I bought them I wasn't aware there was a 60 set or I would have purchased that - like a lot of people on Colortube I have FSS! You pronounced Caput Mortum correctly. Guess what it means? Worthless Remains - I've heard it is all the pigments left over from the other inks/pigments mixed together and that color is what you get, hence 'worthless remains' :o) I'm coloring with my new set of Derwent Coloursoft 72 set right now and I am loving them!
Pitt pens look interesting. I love my Arteza fineliners. I used a Sharpie to put a number at the bottom of each pen so that when I swatched them I would know which pen was which. It's worked well so far and the numbers haven't rubbed off. I usually swatch mine in color wheel order.
I have several small sets, don't use them nearly enough though. I like that they match the faber polys I mostly use the skin tones, then shade with the fabers. Colouring in Teresa Goodridge's Winter Wonderland for #bibliowonderland and getting out my Pitt Pens, thanks Donna!
Hello Donna, I realize this video is 5 years old, and actually the last video you posted was 3 yrs ago. So I'm not sure if you will get this comment. I just had 2 questions. You showed that Jade Summer swatch book, can you actually swatch any type of medium on that? The Prismacolors work on this, because they really don't work on just any paper. Also if you use watercolor pencils can you use them on this paper, and alcohol markers? I see the FC Pitt works well on this with the India Ink. Actually the Pitt pens, did you notice sfter a while they dry out? I have the same 60 set and I have to say the light colors get dry faster. I hope to hear from you if you get this message. Thank you Judith
Whenever I'm waiting for art supplies to arrive, I hear EVERY car that drives past. And when it's a heavier-than-normal engine that suddenly stops, I'm thinking: "that could be a delivery van. WITH MY STUFF" :D :D
hi donna my name is Arlene am 64 and love you so much watch u and Lisa most. you are my two favorites and want to know if you can help me learn how to color with markers in tight pointed areas like leaves for example when they get to that part I always go out off lines and it peas me off. I watch you and u have it down pat what is your secret lol. I suffer from major depression stress anxiety also i just have got in to color by number patterns love it .thanks Arlene
Putting cheap.... er.... budget friendly oil based pencils into a case. I hate wresting with tins. If they are awful (never even tried them) I will have a spare case. Have had the Pitt Pens in wishlist for over a year. 😋 almost pulled the trigger when the price dropped during holidays, but just couldn’t do it. Most colorists like them, and they remain on my wish list. 😆 too bad there aren’t more colors. Bet they would be great in our hardback books. Question: are the Pitt Pen nibs replaceable? I haven’t done the research. Thanks for keeping me company! Hugs!
its Arlene again i purchased dabo n shobo markers I think that's how there spelled , also bag of another brand cant remember that name but the markers are all the same in both bags I have not checked them marker to marker but quick look they look the same . why do companies do this I don't want two bags the same help!!!! thanks Arlene
Awesome! I hope you will enjoy them!!!! Where did you find the 60 set for $80 did the price drop? Thar is about what I paid for mine. Good job finding an outstanding deal. I am glad you found my video. I also struggled to find anything detailed about these too when I was looking. :) I will make more videos similar to this with other products as time goes on also.
Thrilled that you love your Pitt Pens. I hated them and returned them. They bled and tore up my paper. Not a fan. It just goes to show you that one person’s treasure is another person’s poison. BTW, I bought them for Johanna Basford coloring books.
You for sure can not layer or try to blend them unless you are on some type of marker paper. I love that they do not seem as streaky as other water based and they do not go through thicker paper like johanna, klara markova ect.
LOL I was just thinking Wow she has nice handwriting and then you apologized for your bad handwriting. 😂 Thanks for this video I have been wondering what these are like. I am going to use my Christmas money to get them.
Lol... I am cheap too but I darn sure want to know my color choices. I think in the long run I would use more ink scribbling to see of it was the one i wanted or not.

I love my Pitt Pens too but they have been so neglected. Now you make me want to get them out again. Lol.
Pull those babies out!!! :)

I found mine on amazon about a week ago they just came in the mail today.

I DONT SWATCH I THINK IT IS A WASTE OF MY INK...LOL I AM CHEAP😁
Lol... I am cheap too but I darn sure want to know my color choices. I think in the long run I would use more ink scribbling to see of it was the one i wanted or not.
@@ColorWithDonna yeah idk which would work better to save ink . what ever we like I guess ..hugs
If i tried to write and talk like that it would be a joke. I would write what I was saying.
