Hi Arzoo…Great Review of 70-200 2.8 Gm ii…I am an early adaptor to the fantastic Sony mirrorless world I have Sony A7R Iv and A7iii along with Sony 200-600 and 70-200 Gm ver 1 all the gear is fantastic now I want to buy newly launched 300 2.8 gm but sadly to accommodate it would have to let go off one of my lenses…which lens would you let go if you were in my position…

Both have their own uses & importance in the field however if there is no other option but to sell off one, I would let go the 200-600. I would always go for image quality over reach.

It is a great lens! Mine came with some dust inside, but otherwise it is a very sharp and fast focusing lens.

Sony will remove that dust from inside under warranty. Both my 200-600mm and my 135mm f1.8 GM came with dust inside, likely from during the manufacturing process. Sony cleaned out both and fully tested them under warranty, no cost to me, and they have never had any particles inside ever again, even after years of use. Cheers
