A priest once told me that "Catholicism is not a religion for wimps!" He didn't quite mean it in this sense, but I think it applies:)
It's full of pedos though.
Well the pesos are getting theirs and Catholicism is not for wimps
I'm the bishop's secretary. He walked in on me listening to this episode. He thought the title was pretty funny!
He confirmed me. Let him know that, that confirmation was the last major thing I was able to do with my grandmother and it was a very important time that I shall never forget. Also that his words to me at that time still resound in my heart and are a major consideration as I discern my role in the Church. God bless him. And God bless you. Thank you.
God Bless you Sister!
No the title is unacceptable
@@Lab-Rat He is in fact the Bishop of the Moon look it up pretty interesting and has not only historical presidence in the Church but has been appointed as Bishop of the Moon by the Church. Due to the fact the Moon falls under the Diocese of Orlando Florida.
@@Lab-Rat what? The "badass" comment?
Joan Of Arc was definitely a badass Saint too.
We need a clergy that I would follow into battle. And I would follow Fr. Rich. The good humor is great. This is exactly what the Church needs. Thanks you and God Bless
Godbless our military’s Chaplain Corps🙏🏻 I remember having my Chaplain (Father/Captain Devine, USN) give me the Eucharist during my Marne days, in combat, in Iraq 2003. Camouflage vestments, no weapon, no fear … love &respect
Mark Twain was not Catholic. He had a disdain for the Catholc Church and Christianity.
St. Moses the Black became one of my favorite saints. He was kinda like a Egyptian mafia boss. One thing that he did before hiding in the monastery was that he killed a sworn enemie's sheep. But sometime after he converted to Catholicism there was a time when the monastery was going to get to robbed. He single handedly beat the crap out of the robbers and instead of killing them he took them to the chapel where they not only repented but then converted to the church. The way he passed away is very fitting for him. I like the example he shows throughout his life. 😄
ST Moses was Coptic Christian from Egypt. His beautiful monastery is still in Egypt where his relics are. Coptic is different to Catholic, both are beautiful and Christian, but it’s important that the presenters share correct information, if their aim is to give insight into Saints lives. Most of the information shared about ST Moses is not correct. His live story and repentance, how he found Jesus, is phenomenal. ST Moses is an amazing Saint and powerful intercessor.
Saint Moses is great
If you do a Part 2, please talk about St Rafqa. Not only did she experience the wounds of Christ, but she CRAWLED her way to the chapel because she was in such pain, but she didn’t want to miss spending time with Our Lord. She also once saved a little boy from being massacred by hiding him under her robes. She’s a total badass!
Beautiful!!! Looking up. God bless 🙏❤️
This is highly improper description to the saint. This is horrible, and absent of spirituality may God Have mercy on you all an enlighten your eyes to true faith. Seek Otthodox churches , like Greek, Coptic ( Egyptian)
Watching and listening to this show helps my Catholic Christian faith much stronger to defend against other people who claim they are the only ones that will be saved when the final judgement come..!....God bless us all....from Manila with love.
TheUredjr Nice to see a fellow Filipino here. 👋🏻 I feel you btw. Learn how to defend the Catholic faith. Are you referring to the “Iglesia Ni Cristo” group?
@@warmmocha2555 probably.
They were "invented" in the. 20th century. Am I right?
You know I think its a great blasphemy for those People to try to pull apart your faith especially since most dont know the Catholic Faith. My wife always talks of the High Church and the low Church thats not an insult to reformed congregations but they are often stripped of the long standing traditions of the High Church which is the very centre of Catholic Faith such as Holy Communion, Confession. I was reading of an Anglican Priest asking about how to do Confessions I was surprised but to some Anglicans a Devotion to Our Lady exists. Rosarys are used by some Anglican Denominstions. We have a Anglican Commion in the UK thats aligned with the Catholic Church.
Actually, you only need basic Catholicism to believe in the teachings of the Catholic Church.
A person is Christian. Or Catholic not both.
Love this show... hello all the way from South Africa ... thank you all 🙏🏻
My first time qatching and I have to say it's nice to see a priest who actually wears their collary
I think y'all's idea of a badass is different than mine. To me Saint Joan of Arc being burned at the stake, or Saint Therese of Lisieux having her lungs cauterized and writing her own auto biography in her own blood is pretty rough. Or how about Saint Padre Pio, a stigmatist who appeared at the foot of a bed of a married man who abused his wife and he shook the bed and scared the crap out of the man and the man never abused his wife again, or how about Saint Teresa of Avila or Saint Francis of Assisi thr first stigmatist, or Saint Clare who stopped the army who was attacking them simply by holding up The Holy Eucharist. There are probably more badass women Saints than men. Should I go on? Check out thr Women Mystics, Hildagard of Bingen, Julien of Norwich, or how about the Desert Fathers! Saint Anthony of the Desert?, Saint Athanasius, etc.etc.etc.
Omg I’ve never heard that story about Padre Pio! How can I find it, I’m trying to look it up and can’t find much… so cool.. thanks🙏🏻
Muscular Christianity
Interesting phrase. 👍
a little late, but conversations like this make me want to be more involved in my faith, i’ve always considered my self a Catholic, but it’s so good to see people of faith cut up and have fun all while still teaching. definitely coming back, thank you.
They did make a movie about St. Moses the Black. It's called Pulp Fiction, lol.
who says topics about Catholicism is boring. We need these badass preachers everyday!
Word!
I wonder if feminists like or dislike St. Vitalis. Either way, great episode!
Dislike they don't really like anything
We like!!
As a feminist, I can assure you that I love St. Vitalis. We need more men like him!!!
St Simeon.... became a saint because he was anti-social and stubborn. Got it. Lol.
Saint Simeon Stylites the Elder - The first pillar that Simeon occupied was little more than 3 meters (9 ft). He later moved his platform to others, the last in the series reportedly more than 15 meters (50 ft) from the ground.
I love this show so so much
Hey Catholic Dudes from the UK. Keeping the Faith !
My 7 picks/guesses?
Of course! Thanks for asking.
Let's see how much I get...
Moses the Black
Ignatius of Loyola
John Paul II
Francis of Assisi
Joan of Arc
Oscar Romero
Maximilian Kolbe
Ah, how did I forget about Louis de Montfort?!
Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc has been my favourite book since high school, and you're the first person I've ever heard mention it.
Your borderline mocking and downplaying the faith of a devoted saint to his bowel movements during his sacrifice. You almost sounds like a group of Protestants laughing at our history.
My favorite Saint is Saint Jose Sanchez Del Rio.
Vive Cristo Rey!!
Saints were NOT badasses but the NORM. Needed to gain HEAVEN.
I wouldn’t use the a word, but God bless
You are just right,
, it looks like they have smoked, mentioned pooped peeps ,laughing.
What the frick?? Did they just say the a word
BAD ASS SAINTS????? What next? What a terminology to apply to a saint.
We slowly loosing holiness
With the way twins finish each others sentences, you can just imagine 9 girls in charge of different branches of a gorilla army being in perfect synchronization and tactical planning.
"Maybe the column was hollowed out." Best conclusion ever!!! 15:40
lol
I haven’t listened yet but if Joan of Arc isn’t on this list I will be very disheartened.
How does a priest have such little education about women's history? It would have been a great episode if you could talk about the subject of sex work without acting like middle school boys.
The first pillar that Simeon occupied was little more than nine feet high. He later moved his platform to others, the last in the series reportedly more than 15 metres (50 ft) from the ground.[4] At the top of the pillar was a platform, which is believed to have been about one square meter and surrounded by a baluster.
Saint Joan of Arc, "Hold the cross high so I may see it through the flames." My patron saint, truly a Badass!
Giggling like kids all the way through was looking for informative content not a pisstake
Badasses for certain are saints! It takes a warrior to follow Jesus that closely, live a Holy Life and fight of spiritual warfare ;
Let's face it. Loving people despite their horrible behavior is tough...just keep doing it. We should all strive for sainthood.🙏❤
A 40 minute video for 7 Saints,...and not a single list or timestamp anywhere lol.
They must fix their language
Your show is great. God bless you and greetings from Slovakia.
I’m an AG Protestant & I gotta say this Session is why a minimum of 60% of the Teachings I study. It started with, of course, Thomas à Kempis and Richard Rohr.
The saints are not wimps
Fished by the title, caught up with the stories and found myself jotting down traits of the badass saints between your laughs and giggles. I never had anybody to look up to you know like ordinary people where they have successful people as goals in life until I started learning about the saints and their lives. I can't be Joan of Arc although I find her really cool but the Saints are my goal. For me they are the most successful ones I need to look up to hoping I'd be one of the badass saints of the future😍😍😍😍😍 May the Divine grace be upon us🙏💕💕💕💕💕💕 Sending love to God, hoping He finds me, in Jesus name🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wonderful work guys!
Lets look into Joselito Mexican martyr at 14 years old fought for the faith of cristeros till death proclaim Christ a martyr of our times Wow!. What about the saints that fought the 👿 devil
himself Faustina. Thanks for the great information on the great saints. Need
Brave saints to defend the doctrine and the church against Apostasy, to correct and help those who are ignorant who are twisting God's truth into a lie dividing the church. Ignorance is not a bad word, Is what people don't know the truth about Jesus body, his church
He's one of my favourites
Aku baru tau, ternyata selama ini, Christ membungkuk di akun ini menjadi goole.
I just noticed the thumbnail! Nice details!!
actual title: three grown men laugh about poop jokes for 6 minutes before getting back to business
You are just right, three grown men, leading people confused, what has poop, and pee to do with Saints?
St Olga of Kiev fits the bill.
so beautiful
Aku akan mengirim foto aku dan Video aku.
You sound like you are having fun conversing but at the same time, you are sharing interesting stories of saints who stood up for their faith.
Thank you for your sharing of this .Very interesting input on St John of Capistrano.I have not heard of him.
If y’all ever do another list of badass saints, talk about Blessed Giuseppe Puglisi! To this date the only Priest to be martyred at the hands of the mafia. They killed him for preaching against the mafia and encouraging the youth of Palermo to not get involved with organized crime. They killed him at his church on his birthday and his last words before they shot him were “I’ve been expecting you.” Total badass move. I got to see his tomb at the cathedral in Palermo and found his story really inspiring. I hope and pray to see him canonized in my lifetime.
I have to give you props for the intro.
This is when we slowly change our language to please the listener,
The title is not funny, it is not fitting.
Mind your language.
It becomes offensive, bring people to holiness, don't please people.
You are bringing street language to church,
Be serious, you are laughing, your words must be pure.
Make people to came back to your podcast.
Iam OUT.

I just watched this episode and I was enthralled. But this comment bothered me because the commentator did not consider to whom are these three guys actually ministering to. God bless the commentator for being true to the faith. But I have to say, God bless three young men with the courage to speak out in the hopes of reaching other young men and bringing them closer to the faith
These guys can be a bit much to take- BUT- if you can realize it’s the hard-wired male mind set - jokey and laughing-of guys trying to explain Catholicism- then you’ll be ok here. Some females may even laugh along.
If you can realize this, then you can continue to listen. ✝️
You guys are great 👍🏼..
I so love this episode!
Why are so many comments suggesting they should have talked about St Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc).
They did talk about her and essentially declared her the biggest badass.
Listen closer, people haha.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2:17)
Really weary of the current use of the English language. No one sounds educated and too many sound like they're on a binge with the boys. Count me out.
ha ha ha ha ha
You on something?
You're being pretty damned irreverent.
High on Jesus.
How about St. Olaf? He was a Viking warrior who was responsible for the conversion of large parts of Norway, Sweden and Denmark…at the point of a sword if I have the story right?
Maaf saya sedih, melihat Jesus menangis dan meneteskan air mata, mengapa Jesus menangis, saya ikut sedih 😂🤭🙏✝️💖
I’m dying at the amount of time it’s taking to move on from the 💩 talk 🤣
LOVE this media new Evangelization. God Bless this ministry. I'm an old dog, tapping into some modern media evangelism. Keep up the good work of keeping God in the modern mind. God Bless you.
Cut that out! Is not nice! Don't let the devil get a hold of ur minds!!
What a stupid and disgusting way of referring to the saints…
Saya marah besar, jika ada burung elang menerkam WhatsApp saya dan memindahkannya. 😡😚
Good mining read it to d world of d people my name is Clarence Spencer aka meat meat
Bishop of The Moon.
There’s your movie.😉
Vitalus = Vitality?
Gotta have vitality when dealing with that many woman :P hehehehe
Hey guys! I'd there a chance you'd spend an episode speaking to vovatuonal discernment? I'd like to hear more about what a young Catholic should take into consideration when considering Holy Orders, Marriage, or Blessed singlehood. Thank you, all!
Can you give the spelling of the last Saint you talked about?
Saint Quiteria
I love your newer format with guests but I also love that you educate us about things we don't know about saints or the history of the church. I'd like to see you integrate some things like this into your current format.
This is such an amazing episode.
Disappointed in the language in this one.
Praise God! I enjoyed learning about these awesome Saints.
Just some catholic dudes with ADD talking about saints love it
Lol
Why are you using profanity/bad language in your title? Are you trying to be cool and Relevant? As a convert to the faith I find it very distasteful. I can't share this content with any of my non-catholic friends.
Help me understand.
You can't share it because it would scandalize them. You, very seemingly, have a formed conscience. Never throw your pearls to swine, even if it's for the slightest venial sin. Holy compunction is a rare virtue!
I get your point but use of vulgarity doesn’t strengthen your educational foundation. The saints you speak of were warriors but were also chivalrous. Vulgarity won’t raise saints in this world. Thanks for hearing me.
Got it
No shower for 37 years?
Meitnor Meitnotzner
Da sunt, exista și astazi🎉
How do you spell saint "Chidiera" I have no clue. I'm totally lost tying to find some more information on her?
Saint Quiteria
Yes, thank you! That was bugging me. 😂
4min In.... IV denied my catholicism since my baptism in a saint Lazarus church. I become a gangsta.... I'm back kick down doors n tellem jezuz mf
What about sistema Cabrini?
There’s a movie out now about Sister/ Mother Cabrini.
We should probably avoid calling them "badass". Nice video though!
Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.
Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on UA-cam, which shows the real causes of Christian sects and atheism. The video reveals a prophecy about the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the end of the world. Watching this video will bring joy to all who sincerely seek God and will interest those who are not too lazy to think freely. Click on my name to watch the video (The video is in Russian, but English subtitles are included).
PLEASE GUYS... I use you videos often for lessons in my World History class and I would love if you could make condensed 5-10 minute videos with images that would be the greatest blessing I could hope for in my teaching career.
Many astronauts were Catholic. They got permission from the bishop and had communion once a week .
Truly boys, I felt like I was listening to my sons for a bit…🙄😂
Imagine if the nine sisters had married the pagans…possibly would have been the best way to get more warriors!
Lol I was going to say the same thing about Bishop Newnon.
He happens to be my Bishop as well.
This came about due to the fact the Apollo program originated/blasted off to space at Kennedy Space Center which is in the Diocese of Orlando Florida.
This dates back to the old Sea Fearing/exploration days when a new land was discovered or claimed it fell under the Diosical Jurisdiction of whatever Diocese the ships originated from.
I freely admit I may have a few of the finer points wrong in the above but from my understanding this is how it came to be.
"Badass" is really an inappropriate word to use for our holy saints.
What's the name of the female saint who brought 9 babies to the monastery
I have a friend who was raised Catholic in what he called a _"Vatican _*_1"_* church ...
He said that he found a certain statue of Mary to be frightening to him as a little kid!
As for your staple gun -- maybe a more modern alternative would be a Nerf or Airsoft gun, or maybe a _"snore cam"..._
HOW can a discussion of badass saints omit St Stephen King of Hungary?? He only converted an entire kingdom and whipped the pagans out of town, AND established provision for the poor.
I wonder how high the 37 years worth of crap was....did it reach him at the top of the pillar?
"Ehud said to Eglon, 'I have a message from God for you.' He pulled out a dagger and drove it so deep and so hard into Eglon that his bowels and bodily waste poured out. Ehud then jumped out the window and ran off back to camp."
Book of Judges
