I was given as a gift 6 months ago the great flashlight but have only just opened it but to my upset, after charging it, it wont turn on!! taken all the plastic protection off but iv no idea why it wont switch on and not even the green light works only when its being charged any idea what it going on or what I am doing wrong as to why it wont turn on when I press the power button???? This is my first "torch" that really is a torch. It gets really hot, fast. I have never had a flashlight that scares me to use it. I accidently turned it on in the holster and got smoke. It melted the cover in seconds. The switch is easy to accidently turn on.
Do the fans blow cold air into the torch or suck hot air out of the torch? Fans can work in one of two differential ways, sucking hot air away, or blowing cold air in, both are just as good as the other. So how does the MS12 deal with it? Good video by the way, with clear comprehensive narration and good camera work throughout!
I'm a security guard, looking for a powerful light that has a holster that will fit on my duty belt. Between this light, the MS08, R60C and the RS50, which would work best for duty belt carry?

not to mention most people hate the size of the ms18 despite its massive light output.. I bought the ms06 because of its size and removable batteries just in case the batteries meet their lifespan
You know if you would just move the camera maybe even like a couple inches away we wouldn’t have that terribly loud fan noise that is way louder than it is in real life. Love all your videos and watch almost every one but can you please try and move the camera away from lights with fans I would and I think a lot of ppl would appreciate it
My camera is almost three feet from the light in this review. I have to have it in reach so I can show it up close. As for fans being load has nothing to do with my camera but my mic which is not built in the camera. As for sound of fans which was louder on the table which I clearly state. You know its shitton of light when a reflextion off the box is hurting your eyes. Who needs guns when you can have this as self defense, pretty sure it will blind any intruders.
I was thinking of buying one because I love my Dx80, but it's quite heavy when I need to manouver around old mines, so thought this would be perfect size....... Until I heard the fans, they would spoil my UA-cam videos. #ShonkyTours

Just talked to someone still in the business and because of the Federal funding, contractors are able to buy area indoor LED lighting fixtures for $1.00. The distributor is still able to make a couple hundred bucks per fixture, but the end customer invoice will be exactly $1.00 per fixture. 10 years ago when I was in the industry, a good quality fixture would cost the end customer a could hundred dollars each without installing. Today, it's $1.00 for the installed fixture, but doesn't include any conduit, wire, fittings or the installation of all the material needed except the light fixture and hardware to hang it. The amount of Federal funding is completely freaking crazy in the lighting industry. Pretty soon, the power to operate the light fixtures will be free as long as it's using an approved brand and fixture type..... I can't believe what has become of our Country!!!!

Your retinas will take longer to recover with the MS18. Sometimes less is more.
