We must not forget that this city was a POW camp for Polish officers throughout World War II. 5,000 people were behind bars, hungry, cold and under threat of being shot in the head.
Jaka to różnica? jest tam muzeum, archiwum miejskie - więc całkiem to spore, szkoda, że w muzeum nie ma śladu po wojennych losach i tragedii 5 000 ludzi i ich strażnikach.

please keep in mind that Murnau is also known for its world-famous artists - Vassily Kandinsky is probably the best known.

Murnau am Staffelsee ist keine Stadt, sondern eine Marktgemeinde.
