This clip reminds me of when I used to sing in a very large choir that was used in the 80's to travel to smaller churches throughtout our state to minister in other churches that did not have a large music ministry as we were. Blessed to have. Often when we ministered there would be such an anointing present people of that congregation would run down to the alter crying out to our Father in prayer in which case members of our choir would step down and minister to them and pray with them while the rest of the choir would continue in minitering to the Lord in songs of praise and worship. Some nights the anointing was so strong the whole evening progressed as I have described. There was fifteen ministers of various capacities in our choirs midst and as many that were soloists becaause of their God given giftedness. I miss those days as we traveled and met so many bel9ved brothers and sisters of faith around our state of FLA. Because of the size and anointing and many gifted singers we sold so many CD's on our journies we were able to bless many of those churches thru the funds raised There is just nothing like it when God is in it! PRAISE God, what a blessing. this reminds me of the campmeeting's with bro. Sammy Allen at Faith Baptist Campground in Georgia and a precious man of God that's gone home to be with the Lord, bro. Percy Ray in Mississippi at Camp Zion Baptist Campground. what a blessing it would be to be able to go, but one thing for sure, God can move like this where we are if we just lay our all on the alter. Praise God!!!! I'm getting excited just sitting here listening while I'm posting this.
This reminds me a bit of the Tent Meeting back in 88 or 89 at New Hope Baptist in Salisbury! I think that went on for 4 or 5 weeks. Anybody else go to that one? God worked Miracles and Praise God He still does!! YES!
oh god, why couldn't my family have moved to a brighter place...this is so pathetic! whatever happened to going to a regular church if u r christian....this is so appalacian!

If you're implying that this was just some "pumped up emotionalism", then you sure wouldn't have liked Pentecost.... if you're also implying that these people didn't get saved, why don't you track a few of them down and ask them? Cause when they get discouraged when their friends and family won't go to church with them and they come back to this video to be reminded of what God did for them that night and all they see is your negativity.... you running your mouth accomplishes a whole lot doesn't it? Cause when they get discouraged and then give up on the Lord when they see your comment, when we get to heaven, that family member of theirs that they didn't get in church because of your comment, you know who's hands their blood is gonna be on? Yours...

Just hope they aren't enduring fire and brimstone. Please remember there are many ways to the Lord, not just one....Christian, Jewish, Bahai, Hindu, Buddhist, Zorastrian(the three wise men were this) etc.
Yes, well maybe I was a little dramatic. Though, I don't care what race, religion Or culture, there is only 1 way to heaven and that's through the blood of Jesus! If someone has heard the gospel, and asks the Lord to come into their heart, I don't judge whether or not they got saved... the Bible clearly states that whosoever shall call apon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I trust that they were sincere in asking God to forgive them. So all these people saying that no one actually got saved at this revival, how can they say they didn't? Only them and God knows. But I do know they all heard the gospel and that every single person at this revival who professed to get saved didn't all say the same prayer but it's not the prayer that matters, it's whether or not they accepted Jesus into their heart. Who are we to judge anyone's salvation?
It depends where u live in the world and what u r raised knowing. People can have love for the Lord and worship and pray. We are made in the likeness of him, so man is the one that made religion. Before Christians there were many religions and since Christianity there were many more. Jesus brought the revelation of love and it was up to the people to get that message but obviously so many have not or there would not be so many wars and strife. There is this quote the earth is but one country and humankind its citizens. Its the people that make the boundaries we call countries and its the people that make religions. I believe in one God but in many more places they have other beliefs and still others no beliefs at all.
The Lord Jesus Christ said I AM the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. Shygirl2011 or whatever your name is, call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and ask to be saved from eternal damnation. You are more lost than a dog without a soul. I will pray for you. There is but one God, and one mediator; the man Christ Jesus. Christ is the only way to heaven. God was in Christ reconciling Himself to the world. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried and arose again the third day according to the scriptures. Shygirl2011 you need to acknowledge the truth. That truth is that Jesus paid the sin debt for the whole world and the people that go to hell are the ones that reject that truth, and turn their back on God. We are all an unclean thing, and our righteousness is counted as filthy rags. There is none righteous, no not one. No one can work their way to heaven. Accepting Christ into your heart as the only righteousness you have, that will get you in the pearly gates. Christ and Christ alone Sister. Find a church house that preaches the true gospel.
