Love your videos! You guys rock!! We were there for our second time two weeks ago. First time was five years ago for a half day from an all inclusive. This time We actually stayed in Costa Mujeres at an all inclusive and mid week stayed two nights on Isla at Playa la media luna and returned to the all inclusive for rest of trip. We were both wishing we had stayed on the island the entire time rather than at the all inclusive! Just LOVE Isla! Definitely coming back in 2024 and maybe even during those 2 weeks that you guys will be there!
I feel your pain in the dental field.....it is taxing 100%. Love this video and have been traveling to this island for the lasrt 16 years. Going again December 2023.
Love your content and openness, went to the island for our 25th wedding anniversary 31st July and 1st August, fell in love with the place, we stayed at the church accommodation opposite Mangos Cafe, lovely Air bnb overlooking the ocean, the cafe was great, lovely food, would love to return to the island one day, all the best guys😎
July is as hot as Satans balls!! I did it this year and never again!!😂😂😂 We usually go April or May and in November for our Anniversary. I loved your "drunk" videos LoL😝
Great info! I have been to Isla Mujeres a few times for day trips and really enjoyed it. My wife and I got married at a Secrets all-inclusive on the mainland recently and are planning a one-year anniversary, and I want to persuade her to stay on Isla Mujeres for a week instead! My question is what is the cost range for food and drinks per day at the Isla restaurants/beach clubs (or average cost per meal for 2)? I am not looking to penny pinch, just set a realistic budget. We would likely pick a place with complimentary breakfast for at least a few mornings. Thanks!
You will do much better on Isla. You can get a place for $150 usd a night including breakfast and spend less than $200 a day eating and drinking at various places on the island. Some days will be more than others but we promise you’ll spend less than a $400 dollar a night all inclusive and you will experience multitudes more!
Mexico will tax you on a drone over $400 in value. Technically foreigners are not allowed to fly drones in Mexico so "officially" you need to get a local to fly it for you ;)
No, not only is it cost prohibitive but it’s not at all congruent with the Isla Mujeres vibe. We wouldn’t mind a day pass to review some of it but we have no intention of staying there unless we get a huge deal on a room.
Yes, Isla is getting busy as people make videos encouraging people to vacation there. So much so, I'm told that many of the locals that work at the restaurants etc there had to move to Cancun and take the ferry to work on Isla now as the spaces to live have been made available for tourists.
We understand this, and it’s the reason we make our videos. We aren’t encouraging people to vacation there, we are encouraging them to do it right. People are not finding our videos and deciding to go to the island. They plan on going to the island and watch our videos to learn what to do and what not to do. It is better off having tourist come know how to handle the island than a bunch of Cancun minded tourists. The people are coming, like it or not, we are helping to make them more responsible and respectful of the locals. We know a few locals that chose to move to Cancun because they rent their house out on the island to tourists and make a ton of money. They chose that.
@@SchmoopsAdventures so why did you invite two extra women to your hotel to get wasted? you have sin written all over your face, don't lie Mr Pineapple shirt swinger
We were being social. We gave them a ride back to their hotel. That is all. May God forgive you for your wrath. He is the only one that may judge me like you’re doing.
We’re coming from UK 28th July - 8th August! So we’ll deffo see you both!

Absolutely love your videos. We’re gonna be in Isla soon. I was wondering about how you’re taking a drone out?

Great Q & A. I’d love to come and meet up but you guys that’s so hot and humid that time of year! 😅
Have you ever stayed @ Ixchel Beach Hotel on Playa Norte ?
No we haven’t but we hear it’s nice.
Have you ever stayed at impressions?
No, not only is it cost prohibitive but it’s not at all congruent with the Isla Mujeres vibe. We wouldn’t mind a day pass to review some of it but we have no intention of staying there unless we get a huge deal on a room.
Do people get annoyed with the drone? Do some resorts now allow drones? Love your content! Thank you for the videos!
Honestly no one ever even knows it’s there. You just have to be respectful of people and not buzz over their heads.
Have you spent time at Nomads? How is it?
It’s great. We have a few videos on our channel at nomads.

How to watch us TV or Netflex while there 9 days please
You could take a WiFi dongle for the tv and cast from your phone. Use a VPN and set your location to your home city
Where are y’all staying in July ?
We haven’t pinned it down yet but probably an Airbnb somewhere in town
Turns out we booked hotel Chac Chi
Dude is wearing a pineapple shirt at a swingers resort, yeah right ... I'm not that dumb
Dude never wore a pineapple shirt at a swingers resort.
@@SchmoopsAdventures yeah right, you look like swingers, like with those two extra girls, what were you thinking?
Sorry to ruin your fantasy. We are monogamous. Thanks for watching
