It is very necessary for them to think twice before taking these branches as they are more specific. I advise your audience to prefer CORE CSE branch more than these specialisation branches. Just dont go on the attractive names of these branches and say "bohot scope h isme". Hoga Scope but hame ye sahi me krna h? Hame pta h ki hame bs yhi krna h? Listen to yourself.

If you take Core CSE , you have taken a branch which contains almost everything related to CSE. So you can choose one thing according to your interest and make your career in it. But if you choose only specialisation i.e. AIML/AIDS/IIOT etc. You already have a field. i.e. you have a degree in which it is written you are specialized in this.

Totally agree. It looks fancy from outside but when you get onto this side you actually realise its all opposite. And then you can look for other fields.
AI ML DS, they require a good amount of interest in deep mathematics and how to implicate them in real life.

@@isodimetrix well , basically in first year every department has same subjects.. maths , physics , chemistry, basic electrical , engineering drawing etc this subjects are mandatory for every department in first year.. but from second year your streams will be devided properly...from 2nd year you will have to study python , c language , c++ etc..
And with them u will be able to learn basic circuits, electrical devices etc... So u will become an all-rounder

I would suggest you to not take biotech even in top colleges if you're aiming for tech.
Go for cs it etc fields.
Coz even if the college is top notch the companies will only shortlist tech branch peoples. The order goes like this

Dear Yash, my daughter has got Electronics & Computer Engg in Thapar. This was her second choice after CSE/Computer Engg. Should she continue with it or wait for upgradation to her first choice? There are around 1500 students of CSE/Computer Engg in Thapar. Or is it better to do ECE considering less competition in this branch?

Good one👍 But in IT jobs in india as your experience crosses 15 the openings for you decreases. So if you are not upgrading your skills then your carrier ends very early.. So when someones experience crosses 10 he starts saying main coding nahi karunga.. ab main manager hu 🤣 This is not the case in USA or in other countries… More than half of IT professionals in India have outdated skills and they dont want to upgrade and generally servives with politics and chamchagiri 🤣
