Very nice, a brave soul to turn with that crack, as the crack seems to be about 1/8" could you have filled it with epoxy?

Very interesting. I’ve just slightly torched a few pieces to enhance the grain. Boy those cracks can sure be hazardous. Glad it all went well. Merry Christmas and hope you and your family have a Happy New Year! 😊
