If you ever decide to watch this movie, I suggest watching another movie after it, a movie named: Sardar Udham. It won a lot of Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Cinematography awards in 2022. This movie is the best companion movie to RRR because although both these movies depict British imperial rule in India, RRR is an over-the-top action and drama movie where the Britishers are portrayed as stereotypical villains, whereas in Sardar Udham, there is no action, no song or dance, but it is realistic and based on a True Story of an Indian Freedom Fighter, set in the years between the first and second world wars. Sardar Udham, unlike RRR, showcases even the British perspective, humanizing the British. But even though Sardar Udham portrays Britishers in a MUCH more realistic and less stereo-typically villainous manner, yet it is in Sardar Udham that you will _feel_ the truly _evil_ nature of the British Empire. RRR, despite all its achievements, could never come close to depicting evil in such a sophisticated manner. I consider Sardar Udham to be the _best_ movie ever made in Bollywood, and among the best Indian movies ever made.
Watch this movie.. it has an English version too on Netflix. You'll not regret it.. Steven Spielberg watched this movie & did an interview with the director of this movie.. James Cameron(director of titanic & avatar movies) loved it so much he watched it twice.. once alone & then showed his wife & complemented the director when he met him in person at the Oscars.
