That was superb... that lady has a beautiful voice, the song made me smile & it's a great way to demo the pedal. Well done to both of you... I'm off to bandcamp to check out her music.
THIS is the demo i was looking for of this pedal. im thinking about buying it so i can play lead and rhythm by myself and switch for verse and chorus bits. great demo, great song and voice even! thanks!
Thanks, Sebastian! The answer was already in the description box beneath the video. Drums were recorded in advance and the Ditto X4 was synced to the midi clock from my DAW.
Great demo. I love my x4. Do you know if their is a way to arm the second loop for overdub? I know that pressing the second loop in advance arms it for playback after the first loop has completed its cycle BUT I have to hit the 2cnd loop button once again after to start recording an overdub which starts it off beat
Hi Jeff, I'm so sorry that I missed this question somehow. Did you figured it out already? I don't know if it can be done. There are little dip-switches on the back of the X4, for different modes. Did you try those?
Thank you! The answer to your question was already in the description below the video: "Drums and backing vocals were pre-recorded. I used the midi-sync to sync the Ditto X4 to the DAW. ALL GUITAR PARTS WERE PLAYED LIVE AND LOOPED WITH THE DITTO X4"
Jurren Mekking Ah yes! thank you, I missed the description and I feel sheepish. I must have been hypnotised by the beautiful song (well, that's my excuse)!
Excellent! What DAW are you connected to with the DItto X4? I'm experiencing a great deal of midi clock sync drifting on the Ditto X4 when using a Disaster Area SMARTclock midi clock pedal, and trying to figure out what in the world is going on! Yours here sounds like it stays perfectly in sync!
I send midi clock from an external device to the "midi in" on the Ditto X4 Note that the Ditto X4 only has a "midi in" and a "midi thru" connection, so you can only send midi clock to the pedal and the pedal doesn't generate midi clock by itself.
Hello, I know you have already answered the question by saying that the rythm part runs from your daw into the midi of the ditto. But can you tell us how did you do it, using what because midi only read midi right? How did you transfer some kind of wav or mp3 format to go into the ditto? This would be very appreciate to have the solution. Best from France.
There is no audio stored in the looper before I start. The drums are not in the looper, but in the DAW. The only thing midi does, is to sync the start and end of the loop to the midi clock, so the loop doesn't drift from the rest of the music.
simply beautiful. Amazing voice she has.
Forget the loop for sec, this is a sweet tune -- her voice is perfect. All the way back now......:)) Love it !!!
That was exactly my goal: that you would forget that there are guitar loops.
Thank you for your kind words!
This is perfect! Superb creative use of the Ditto X4. Well done, Jurren :)
Wonderful song. Mesmerizing lady. Superb playing. Charming voice. Beautiful sound. What can be said more...

Watching these I’m 100% sure I made the right decision investing in this 👍
What a beautiful song
Great demo/performance! Thanks
You're welcome :)
Thank you for the kind words!
❤🎧❤
nice work!
Gorgeous
Great stuff. Dropped a sub, she has a great voice and your melodies are as serene (not same as) coldplay and some softer smashing pumpkins. Luv it.
Lisa, nice singing and song.
Cool!
think im in love
Nice! Hey somebody knows how to add that drum track? Does it goes through the ditto as well? If not how do you sync everything to perfection??
thanks
Thanks, Sebastian!

Hi, this demo is truly excellent, lovely song! How did you get in the backing vocals? Was that done in post production?
Thank you!

I'm using Logic Pro X.
Hey Jurren how do you do to stay on time with the drum? I have the pedal so I have problems, thanks and keep doing music
Hey Eduardo,
I synced the Ditto X4 with midi to the backing track.
Jurren Mekking thanx Jurren have a nice day
Hi Jurren another question how a have to connect the pedal? midi out from the pedal? or midi in? thanks
I send midi clock from an external device to the "midi in" on the Ditto X4
