She’s going brilliantly, lovely filming. It’s wonderful that you share your talents here; I always enjoy your videos and how they make me feel as though I’m there. Thank you
Steve, good to meet up yesterday and the catch up. glad to be of service, in getting you where you needed to be. lovely set of shots, any further info on why it went into the loops
Excellent video Steve. Nice selection of locations. Plenty of exhaust. What do West Coast do To their steam locos. All ways the drain cocks making a noise. Tangmere also should be on southern rails were she belongs. Kind regards C&A
Smart thinking to overtake her while in the loop Steve. Beckfoot worked well despite the "annoyance". Caught her working well at Ais Gill too with her trying to outdo City of Wells in the vulcano stakes. Take care - Chris
Great video Steve, 400 views and ive still not finished editing mine 🤣🤣 mind i just caught leander at Giggleswick, Shame about that dreaded drain cock though, great returing shot at Ais Gill cheers . 🎥👍
Nice video Stephen very good camera work as usual as always I am really enjoying your lovely videos and camera work keep your lovely camera work up I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on UA-cam bye for now Philip
Great video covering a number of locations. I went to Stockber and the wind direction did not help the photography or the videoing. Always difficult when you get the wind from the east.
She’s like a smokey, smouldering fire compared with SNG (and A4s, A3s, etc.) why so much steam and smoke? Do they have firing and compression/steaming problems these ‘spam-cans’? The Gresley locos seem so much more efficient to me. Still love your videos mind!
A blustery day but Tangmere never fails to impress! Great video.
Thanks again for your very kind words as they are always appreciated 👍
Steve, Tangmere always puts on a good show whatever the speed. Certainly earned its 'Volcano" tag on this video. Regards, John
Thanks John , certainly got our money’s worth of clag 😂
Some very nice scenes of 'The Northern Belle' and 'Tangmere' . Excellent video!
Glad you enjoyed it Allan , tried a few different locations for a change 👍
That is stunning Steve. Classic Tangmere stuff! I could almost smell it. Regards, Nic.
Many thanks Nic , certainly smelt nice as the exhaust drifted over me 👍
Excellent video Steve, after a Duchess the spam can is my second favourite steam loco class. She really does put on a show. Well done 🤓
Thanks Anthony, blustery weather but at least it was dry .
A joy and a pleasure to watch.
Thanks Ken , much appreciated as always 👍
Thanks Steve great video a bit of a dull day but a good result the Ais Gill was extremely good thanks Brian
Glad you enjoyed it Brian , difficult weather conditions but the blimp earned its keep .

Thanks so much for the very kind words as always and I’m so glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Excellent Stephen, not seen the first three shots before, seen the last one. Two good angles at Ais Gill. Cheers

Great video, great sound and great to watch
Glad you enjoyed it Jed 😊
Some very nice smoky shots there Steve, going well at Ais Gill on the return
Thanks Austin, considering it went into the loop it still works well I think 👍
Lovely footage as always. Great sound despite the stiff wind. Always a joy to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it 👍The blimp I use is worth its weight in gold on blustery days like that 😊
I always enjoy watching your videos and you get them uploaded so quickly, I live in Carlisle and regularly watch trains at Scout green, Ais gill etc
Glad you like them Daniel, I try to upload as fast as possible 👍

@@FeckHallBahn Nice one 👌

Thanks Chris, it worked well for me as Nige was at Beck foot so I was offered a lift from a chap I know so I then did the bridge with Nige behind me 👍
Nice one Steve, not exactly what was planned but turned out ok in the end and with plenty of smoke and steam, cheers 👍
Thanks Nige , always a gamble being near the loop but like you say it worked well in the end 👍
Great video Steve, 400 views and ive still not finished editing mine 🤣🤣 mind i just caught leander at Giggleswick, Shame about that dreaded drain cock though, great returing shot at Ais Gill cheers . 🎥👍
Thanks Steve , not sure why the drain cock was so loud sadly as it killed the engine sound.
Is it my imagination or was the diesel loco giving some help at the last two locations?
Thanks for the comment Rod , I wasn’t sure to be honest if the 57 was helping but I suspect it had been over Mallerstang to going that fast. .
Hi Steve,Great video ,better now the diesel is the same colours as the carriages.....Dave,😄👍👍👍👍🚂🚂🚂🚂🚃
Thanks Dave , certainly looks better with a matching 57 .
Hi Steve , Yes blends in ok ,Thanks for reply....Dave🙂👍👍👍🚂🚃@@TheStephengthompson

Thanks for replying Stephen i have just looked on railadvent for tomorrow is the Dalesmen Chester to carlisle i don't know what loco it is
Great video covering a number of locations. I went to Stockber and the wind direction did not help the photography or the videoing. Always difficult when you get the wind from the east.
Thanks Alistair, the strong winds didn’t help filming much but hey ho 😊

Thanks Alan, not sure why the Spam cans churn out so much smoke to be honest.
Coal issues?
Possibly was Russ as there wasn’t anything right behind the tour meaning it would go into the loop 🤷
