Synopsis: As Saamidah, a young Palestinian-American girl, anxiously starts her first day of school, she finds her identity in question when faced with a world map that doesn't include her homeland.

My son’s science teacher decided to stop his class and speak up for the Palestinian people, educating the children about the Palestinian history, culture, and current oppression. My son, a Palestinian American, came home feeling very validated and special. I thank his wonderful teacher for taking time away from his lesson to give the children a lesson of love.

This reminds me of when I was younger and people would ask where I was from. I would always answer ‘Palestine’ and just expect confusion, because that’s what I was usually met with. ‘Where is that?’ they would ask. ‘Oh you know, where prophet Jesus was born? Bethlehem? Home of Jerusalem?’ I’d respond, only to be met with ‘oh.. you mean Israel?’ 💔 I would very quickly correct them and give them a history lesson, because my heritage is not something to be corrected. It is beautiful and it is at my core.
My parents always taught us to be incredibly proud to be a Palestinian. We would not hide behind a ‘Jordanian’ or ‘Middle Eastern’ identity. We are Palestinian and one day, Palestine will be free. ♥️🇵🇸

Si alguien se quiere informar medianamente, basta un rápido arqueo hemerográfico físico o virtual por plataformas digitales para documentar, por ejemplo, las sostenidas agresiones de soldados y colonos judíos contra mezquitas en territorios palestinos que tan solo este año se han producido: en abril, mayo y los primeros días del mes de octubre violentando no solo la religiosidad sino las vidas de palestinos, generando arrestos arbitrarios y en franca provocación a la población palestina en lo que para ellos son sus espacios sagrados.
Las violaciones a la población, los desplazamientos forzados, el cerco, las agresiones, las masacres por parte del estado sionista contra el pueblo palestino tiene más de 70 años... No empezó el 7 de octubre.
Documentos hay SUFICIENTES.
Las evidencias son tantas y el carácter violento del estado sionista es tal que muchísimos practicantes de la religión judía SE OPONEN ABIERTAMENTE y están protestando contra el genocidio perpetrado por el estado sionista israelí tanto internamente como a nivel mundial.
Yo trabajo con el tema de la Diversidad Cultural bajo parámetros de la UNESCO y NO, no odio a practicantes de ninguna religión ni a los nacionales de ningún país.
RECHAZO sí, abiertamente, el sionismo y sus prácticas colonialistas y genocidas. Rechazo que hayan convertido al Holocausto en un negocio y que se escuden en eso para justificar lo injustificable; reproduciendo hoy y hasta superando lo que población judía sufrió en los campos de concentración.
De paso:
1) los judíos NO FUERON LAS ÚNICAS VÍCTIMAS de esas atrocidades....
2) Antisionismo NO ES antisemitismo
3) el pueblo palestino ES un pueblo semita
4) la categoría de Semita es una clasificación de familias lingüísticas, no étnicas

I myself feels proud when I meet any Palestinian I proudly say that my grandmother (father's mother) is also from Palestine and my grandfather is from Pakistan and I am proud to have Palestinian blood. I loved the fact that almost people from all over the world have eventually waked up from their silence and stand by the side of our innocent brothers ! If just each one of us has took the opportunity to speak and stand up for the palestinians and all sort of humiliations they are submited to.. there would be a tremendous impact on our people's hearts, and incha-allah there must be a great lose for all the criminals and the ones who're supporting the injustice even with words !
