Thank you for posting this. It is interesting to hear him talk about his art. What a lovely person he is, as well as an incredible singer. I can’t wait till I can hear him live.
Less than a month from now I will be hearing this miraculous artist and lovely person live in Birmingham Town Hall (7 April). I am as excited as a child before Christmas.
Franco fagioli for me personally is the greatest artist of our time ever since the modern world had the power to record the human voice and ever since the modern world gave us the chance to hear the other great singers of the past fagioli for me tops them all ..his voice makes the human soul tremble and then soothes it at the same time he is farinelli incarnated a voice sent from heaven
I couldn't have put it better myself. I came upon Franco Fagioli by accident. wonderful! Had the privilege of seeing him in the Wigmore Hall last November. Still on cloud 9!!
I have to say that i ENVY YOU!!! Lol and i would be on cloud 12 if i had the chance to see him perform , i live in nyc and have been going to the met every chance i get . I started listening to opera around 4 years ago and i came upon fagioli around a year ago and i have been hooked but i have to admit that i never thought i would become such a huge opera nut ,it never really crossed my mind then i saw a video of pavarotti singing che gelida manina from 1964 that took my breath away and ever since i was hooked and i consider myself lucky that i live here in nyc so close to one of the greatest opera houses in the world and now im dissapointed that i cant go and see fagioli at the met the way i could see Antonenko kauffman florez just to name a few so im planing on going to euorpe and hopefully i could see him perform Im fortunate enough to say that i have seen all of my favourite opera singers perform live except the great fagioli ... Fingers crossed ✌️
A musical genius and a lovely person. We are truly living in a golden age of counter-tenors : Franco Fagioli, Max Emanuel Cencic, Philippe Jaroussky, Andreas Scholl etc.
What am I doing? Listening to you explain it accurately. There is a explanation of atomics . . . valence. In atomics there are forces. Almost magnetic. Atoms gather together and become molecules . . . but they're not locked into place. They're sort of pulsating and rotating about each other (sometimes plural "s"). The molecules travel in time and their constituents are in motion or are in harmony. That seems to be an explanation for what I hear in Baroque or what baroque music is doing. Traveling together.
