I just wanted to say you muchas gracias por tus vídeos. I'm a beginner in Spanish, but I adore this charming language and I want to speak it as soon as possible. Your channel is really helpful for me. Thanks a lot for your work!
Gracias Pablo y señora Pilar! Love these videos with conversations. Also the ones with you mother! She's the best! The funny thing is I seem to understand the "American Español" better than the one spoken in España.
Pablo I’ve been learning Spanish for a couple of months but I don’t see myself evolving. The only words that get stuck in my brain is the ones I find interesting. And I feel like the majority of the words my brain just reads as unnecessary information. Can I somehow trick the brain into thinking that every word is super interesting and of value to remember? Do you have any advise?
Yes, I think this is an inevitable fact of language learning. We'll remember better words that we find interesting or necessary, or that somehow draw our attention. One way we can capitalize on this is by listening to content that we find genuinely interesting, by doing things like crosstalk and actually becoming friends with our exchange partner, or by using the language in real life situations. Luckily, the more and more words that you know, the fewer unknown words there will be left, and the more allowance that your brain will have to start paying attention to less important words. Some words like conjunctions, prepositions, etc. carry very little meaning, and can go unnoticed for a long time when using a method like Dreaming Spanish. That doesn't mean that you aren't learning them though! Noticing is not necessary for acquisition, and I find myself consistently using words and expressions that I don't remember learning or ever noticing. Just continue getting input by listening to things that are easy and interesting and you'll get there!
Dreaming Spanish Thank you, I just have to acknowledge that other people have an easier time absorbing words:/ Maybe if I was more easily amused and not so bitter things would’ve become easier:(
Dreaming Spanish Mainly polyglots like Steve Kaufman that says it can be done in a year. But also other assholes like Benny Lewis, (which is a man I’ve learned not to believe in).
Julbombning I wouldn’t tear down others because your journey is different (more difficult) than what their brand promotes. It does work for some. Watch all of the Dreaming Spanish Videos and Español con Juan and you will see a difference.
Columbia definitely isn't Mexico or Peru when it comes to food. Both of those countries do amazing things with inexpensive ingredients. Columbia, not quite so much
I think the bad sound quality is, maybe, a good thing. Hearing Spanish in different situations/circumstances. P.S. That woman is great!
Great comment

Muchas gracias a Pilar y Pablo!
This was a great video. I find these types of conversations so engaging!

I love, love, love Pilar!!! So lovely to have her on the channel!! 💛💛💛💛
Muchas gracias Pilar y Pablo.
I wish her sound quality was a little better, but not everyone has a super great set up. Still I love bringing in other people to talk
I'll make sure I ask her to record her audio separately next time!

@@julbombning4204 Why do you believe you learn slower than others? Who do you compare yourself with?

You need more Colombian women on your channel and maybe Venezuelan. I think they have the easiest Spanish to understand.
Me gustó el video. Gracias 😃

Buen video.
