Agree but also would add from my own experience that if you really love them, because I’ve been with people who really treated me poorly and used me and when they were ready to move on and didn’t want to work on the issues I had with them they just gave up and wished me happiness…it just felt hollow because of that.

I feel like this is the most genuine of all the other episodes. It's too raw and too close for comfort.
Man, this is as real as it gets. Something went wrong, he clearly feels like he screwed up, and boy God you can see he regrets it because he's just totally cut up about it. I reckon he'd give just about anything to have another go of it but she's moved on and fair enough. She didn't get what she needed the first time round and she has it now, but you can see, right there, that if he had put in the goods, they would be together, and happy, and healthy, and powerful, and you can see they both know it. One can only hope that she is getting what she needs and deserves now, and that he will take this lesson forward, and when and if he sees the right person to invest that time and energy and love into, he will do it as well as it needs to be done and they will reciprocate and they can be happy, if not together, then at least for each other. Fucking hope so, because if not, this video is tragic as fuck.

There is no such thing as "letting your ego get in the way". The things he felt back then and that caused trouble in the relationship were real, not imagined. And if he would be in the same situation again today he would feel the same. Sure, he could choose to ignore it, but that wouldn't lead anyone anywhere.
I don't know the circumstances of what happened in their relationship, but it sounds much like he was having an issue with how things were developing (the friends thing) and then she felt bothered, fought back and ultimately it ended (which I feel she implied when she said "I wish you felt that way back when we were still together (aka leave me alone)".
The bottom line is: If relationships end up in constant fighting then it will not work out and it really is no ones fault and no one could have changed anything about it.
Damn... this one made me cry. Its palpable that both of them still care a lot for each other, even if their lives probably won't cross like they did. The guy managed to still be vulnerable despite carrying regrets and all, the woman did a nice job in being a good ear to that. They both are very touching.

They might be feeling this way now but we have no way of knowing how they will act if they were to get back together. We lack the context to suggest that they should get back together.

It's Awesome on how this video stil got me emotional even two years after i first watched it, and the lessons that i've taken from it, it just makes my heart break and fix it up all over again, it's incredible...
This is extremely touching and I literally get the situation: his emotions and feelings, his regrets and desperation. Moreover, I actually saw me instead of him while I was watching the episode. The love he keeps is undoubtable. Him asking her (whether she was happy or not in her current relationships) and giving his own answer according to hers is the absolute proof.
