Finally we are getting less snow and the snow don't linger, but melts right away again. I am tired of shovelling snow of my outside stairs, or paying the snowguy to clear up my driveway, so that suits me fine. We live in Norway, far north, in the Lofoten islands, and normally we would have tons of snow in March, but the heated planet is shifting our weather to an average warmer and more violent variety. It's so true that bills are always coming and now we soon have the tax returns, and I stand to pay nearly USD 4500 in penalties for selling some shares that had gone up a bit. The government wants your every penny, and if you don't comply they will haunt you like a wraith. Well, enough crying from me. Have a nice weekend and a good and relaxing day. Yep...Thats why we have trains,Much more efficient and you use trucks at each end of the shipping process , Also far better to ship by train for the environment. But NO,,,, Somewhere along the line we decided that trucking it from coast to coast was better

Good show today DC ! Maybe if they build another little tiny house where you have to pull the chain to fill the trucks, they can add a normal set of stairs so you don't have to climb the ladder one-handed while you're holding the camera. 😉👍
Great video DC, I remember when I 1st started off watching Cole and you were 1st coming onto the scene. What a difference from then until now you should look back once in a while it's funny to see you all nervous infront of the camera and doing silly stuff and then look at you now, a proper youtuber. I spent 32 years driving tractor trailer been all over the US spent many days away from family. Last 3 years I was doing jockey/switcher work back under a trailer that hit hard hurt my neck a week later I was backing to a dock in the dark hit dock little hard then felt weird couldn’t drive found out I suffered 2 concussion. Company I worked for fired me do to not showing up for work even though I was working with workers comp for on job injury. So people treat your drivers good
Hey Daddy Cornstar - You should replace the ladder up to the filling platform with a stairway with double railings, be a lot easier to get up there and fill trucks!!
I thought about that about how much garbage, my husband and myself have in a week we have three bags full. That’s amazing for me I think but we keep everything clean and eat just as you do. Stupid question. Instead of climbing that ladder for every load why can't you push a button in the bin shack to open the hopper bottom and monitor the trailer filling via network cameras?

Why don't you have an electric servo instead of the chain for the gate on the overhead ? And why not have cameras to watch the trailers when loading ,save time and way safer.

It is easy to see how cohesive everyone works together you all work for good of the farm, and how your drivers, vendors, and contractors work with you all. Brings a breathe of fresh air to follow along in this crazy world we are living in today.

He thought me much about hard work and understanding the ins and outs of farming. Values that have stayed with me the last 43 years. Unable to work any more do to a industrial accident. I live through you and the boys vicariously. God's blessings Keep on farming.
Is there nothing else you can grow? We grow grain (milo/sorghum), corn (seed and sweet), cotton, watermelons, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and hay, but most years only make decent money with one or two of the commodities. We did really well one year with watermelons and then the bottom fell out when all the neighbors decided to grow them as well. Btw, onions are good or great one year out of every five or so. But farm diversity is sometimes very hard dealing with planting, fertilizing, pests, diseases, too much or too little water, and harvesting logistics (especially when trying to beat weather like hurricanes).
Good grief, every time you turn around something else on that bin site is falling off. I sure worry about all of you! DC, please don't risk a fall to get video coverage from up on that thing. I hope the lawsuit gets resolved sooner rather than later so you can get everything fixed up and safe. Blessings from an old farm girl!
What's to resolve? His son Cole acted as the general contractor and approved and signed off on all the work done. I'll be surprised if they see a dime from the bin company.

My brother was a teucker for 40 years, he had to get a defibrillator & they wouldn't let him drive anymore. He had to take disability & now pulls his 5th wheel around to different campgrounds.

It's tough to make things work out farming today, when you can't make it work on paper the odds of making it work in the field are extremely hard
