Renogy Rich Solar Bluetooth App and Password Info Default Password: 135790123 Old App is Renogy BT and will work for Rich Solar too New App Renogy DC Home (Requires setting up an account) The port RS232 used the BT-1, The RS485 uses the BT-2
So the Rich Solar 40a charge controller will work with the Renogy BT-1 and still work with the Renogy DC home app?. I am getting a camper that comes with solar installed and believe it is the Rich Solar controller installed, I will be adding a Renogy inverter. I have seen where the Rich Solar and Renogy charge controller are the same, just rebranded.
curious on your wiring. I am getting this 40 AMP to run 4 -20 watt solar panels (series/parallel setup) - i am doing 10awg from the panels to 10 amp fuses on each series, then from rich to batteries was thinking 8 AWG,,,, do you think 8 AWG is good from controller to batteries?
Need at least 8g for 40a, but does depend on length. I like to over build so 6ga for a shorter distance will work ok. You will have 80w so about 4a max
@@mrmotofy Hey I'm sorry it cut off the 1. its 4, 120 watt solar panels (series Parrelel (2 sets of 2 pannels - on a boat so breaking it up) - 6.5 amp 21.6 volts Each ) - have 10 amp fuses on positive of each series (10 AWG wire), then combiner - which should yield 43.2 Volts @ 13 Amps going into controller? using 8 AWG wire with a 25 amp duel pole breaker - then a 40 AMP mppt - out using 8 awg to battery and neg bus bar (fuse on battery terminal at 40 amps) - sound right?

@@AaronDraper-x6u yep, they're the same controller. Renogy is just a huge reseller

@@cardinhamkilligrew9712 I personally would use 6ga and a 50a fuse. The controller outputs up to a straight 40a, so a 40a fuse is at risk of popping
❤️🔥THANK YOU SIR🇺🇸
