I have lupus, and it tried to reject my liver, leaving it badly damaged. So when my doctor prescribed a statin to help with the cholesterol, my enzymes shot up and to the thousands.

Total chol =( Tg/5) + HDL + LDL So, if any one of these 3 is high, total chol will be high My Tg is at a great level at 1.0 mmol/L (recent result) and 0.9 mmol/L (previous) HDL 1.9 mmol/L (recent) & 1.8 mmol/L (previous) Unfortunately, my LDL has always been on the high side 5.5 mmol/L (recent) & 4.7 mmol/L (previous) Still, every doctor I see is trying to push statins down my throat even though 1. Ratio of my total chol:HDL is good 2. Ratio of my LDL:HDL is good 3. Ratio of my Tg:HDL is ideal I'm buffered 😅😅
Green tea and black tea come from the same tree but do some thing to make it black tea so why every one keep talking about green tea like it is a different tea from a different plant
I am 49, and have similar report (triglycerides 275) . I started to walk 3-4 miles everyday, skip breakfast and eat at 11am. Dinner before 7pm. More fiber foods, less chappati (2) and rice.. avoid junk food in between meals. It worked for me to levels in controls.
@@yellowzad seems you're also an Indian, could you pls elaborate what all things you have in your diet? My LDL levels have risen to a very borderline levels and I need to do something soon.

Try drinking milk thistle tea. It helps to lower high liver enzymes.

Me too , LDL is bad cholesterol. We need to lower LDL under 100
It means that your HDL is moderate and your LDL and triglyceride are high.
Total chol =( Tg/5) + HDL + LDL
So, if any one of these 3 is high, total chol will be high
