@@samuelgeorge3823 chennai has a good local train network connectivity from city to outer most will coming to work only not staying but metro is suitable only within city limits not for longer routes definitely it not will decongest the city including bangalore and chennai because of last mile connectivity issues due to lack of unavailability of footpath in newly created areas from 1995 both city but old areas of bangalore city has decent footpath to walk maintenance is a question where chennai lacks it, bangalore traffic is usage of private vehicle is high about of 1.7 cr may 2024 registered only bangalore rto. bangalore doesn't have local train system but they are constructing now,chennai city geographically is rectangular/square horizontal one and bangalore city is geographically is circular one
I am also living in Chennai. What is that you are mentioning as flood gates. In Virugambakkam we are suffering on every rainy season. Especially people living at ground floor literally vacate their houses because entire ground floor houses will be flooded with water . Please let us know whom to contact
