I have some blue parrots in another tank and would eventually move them together. I was told the female lays eggs but the male is sterile. I have a male blue polar fish that has fertilized it's females eggs, many times. I am wondering if it will do the same for the parrot's fish eggs. Sir I have 2 gold fish and 2 milky koi both are about 4 inches ..and i feed them small pellets but the pellets are really hard....so i soak the pellets in water for 3 minutes and then i feed them.....sir is it good or bad ?...🙏🙏
Nice video. However a correction: the parrot fish grows very slow. It grows 0.5 inch every 3 months. Other facts : parrot fishes are mostly shy. They never come out of hiding space easily. Similar to discus and angel fish, the parrot fish will grow both horizontally and vertically. They need a very big tank. 30 gallons for first fish and 10 gallon per fish for additional fish.

Hello Sir, I have been in fish keeping hobby for more than 15 years. I have been your subscriber since long and watch all your videos to learn and understand the best practices to keep my fishes happy and healthy. Due to some unfortunate reasons my earlier blood parrot died while I was on a trip with my family. A short circuit in my fish tank took away their life around 6 months back. I started with a fresh setup of 250 liters tank with 6 new blood parrot fishes. I always keep an eye on water quality and follow your advise to keep my tank in optimal condition. I am using biological, chemical, and mechanical filters to keep the water clean. However, my fishes are not growing since last 6 months. I can see that the size of my fishes is same as it was 6-7 months back when I bring them home. I use shrimps twice weekly and Hikari food for them. I use to feed them twice a day. My tank is not a planted tank but decorated with artificial plants and toys. Could you please guide me what wrong could be I am doing? All my 6 fishes are playfull, joyfull and seems very happy in the tank. They always comes to me or my family members whenever I am near to my tank. There color is bright and they seems to be happy on the tank. The only issue I could find is the growth factor. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sir , i have two parrot fish with other cichlids ,but one is dominating other a lot and wo Dark ke bhar hi nai aata hai .. aaya toh wo dominant parrot wapas usko udhar bhejta hai .. Dara hua parrot sirf khane bhar aata hai ..

2)Can I keep a pair of blood parrot and a pair of yellow parrot in a same tank?
3)Can I use a sponge filter in a parrot fish tank?
