Abilene don't have bad areas this town is a money pit jobs every where we came here with nothing we are now buying a house all within one month of being here safest place to live and raise a family small city but a great city
We used to call Abilene High School “Stabeline High”. On the north side there’s a few gangs and even cartel operations going on but on the far south side where most of the new houses are being built everyone is rich.
@@HoodAdventures Lot of good people out there though. I lived there for 5 years. When I first got out there, I thought I had hit a dead end. After I made some friends, it wasn't all that bad. I learned one important truth out there which is even though it may look empty and boring, its more about the friendships you form more than anything else. You can't get away from yourself no matter where you go. A person can live in NYC and still be lonely without any friends.
@@izayaburks I still remember Joe Rooker who rode a bicycle everywhere he went, carried a bible with him, and preached the gospel everywhere he went, but that was some 50 or more years ago. It was and probably still is big sky country out there. God bless you.

Doesn't look like there's much to do out there except eat, sleep, and listen to the wind blow.
Yeah, I think I’d get bored out there over time. At least they do have a College & Military base so it might be some type of action going on.

It’s all behind-the-scenes, but it is kind of boring. Everybody is inside. I’ve been here since I was a kid.
And he didn’t go to the four-way

Abilene, although it does look like San Angelo and they’re about the same size.
Do you live in Abilene
