Nope as much as I love Mariah she is one of my favorites love her music I know she tries somedays she sounds good somedays she dont yeah she's a bit rusty but what can you do
She can't sing live anymore because her voice has been very inconsistent. So, one night she might sound okay but the next night she might sound terrible. So, she just does the short a capella parts and ad libs live.
@@all_that_ish And people still come to her shows when she doesn't sound great, this has been proven over the years. I personally wish she would just do a few songs partially or half live during her sets.
@@EmilieSagaethe inconsistency of her voice is really bad, like sometimes her voice would break on a simple verse, and it has been stressing her out in recent years and affecting her self-esteem, so I understand why she would just go safe like this. At least she’s giving really good and recent vocals even if it’s pre-recorded. She just has to work on her stage presence again.
Keep in mind her mom and sister died recently, and most likely she was aware they would pass. She looks very depressed and lost motivation. To me it seems like she was taking care of her voice more near end of 2023 and then gave up after bc of that situation.
