What if you download malware and then it executes without user permission and infects the other devices on the network?

You need to be very careful when downloading malware for this very reason. Also, when you execute the malware in a safe analysis environment you need to make sure that your network adapters are disabled or set to "Local Computer Only". This will help prevent the spread of malware if it has a propagation mechanism. Hope this helps.

hey I didn't know that downloading malware costs money. I get several emails with attachments a day with that kinda stuff.... hey, I'll be a millionaire soon L)

Shouldn't cost money from reverse.it and others. The only one that costs money is VirusTotal premium/enterprise accounts.

@@RingZeroLabs No, dude I know. I'm just joking. I get so many of those fake FedEx delivery, account-notification-please-open-attached-pdf/doc type emails almost daily that I can probably open my own site to sell them, following the Google model :)
