    Great video Sensei! You’ve given me a lot to work on, and now I want to go back and apply some of these exercises to Tezeta minor / Akebobo scale as well. I never practiced intervals.

    Excellent,..it sound great,...but isn't Antchihoye C - Db - F - Gb - A - C ...However this sounds cool too....:) Similar to my native scale...!!! Edit...Aha ok i see,..when you start from F# you use that scale...:)

    • @NadavPeled19
      @NadavPeled19  9 місяців тому +1

      You're right that's actually the 2nd way I show it in the video but I looked at it from the b5 (Gb) but you're definitely correct that if you start it from C it'll be the notes that you mentioned! Like I mentioned, when I first learned it the musician who taught me (amazing saxophone player Abate Berihun) gave me the more diminished one (C-Eb-F#-G-B) and then I learned the other way :) Thank you for pointing that out!

    Could you please tell me the formula to make anchoye chords?

    • @NadavPeled19
      @NadavPeled19  Рік тому

      Hi Emmanuel! Basically in most cases the chord played under an Antchihoye melody would be a Minor chord with a major 7th (see the vid at about 4:30min in) but you can create different chords and voicing a by just combining notes from the scale. Try to find and create sounds you like! Hope it’s helpful. Thank you!
