It does. It prepares you for what is to come in the expert chart. Have to remember that back when this song came out, this chart was not labeled a "12". It was just labeled as a "standard" or "trick mode" chart. The Standard (aka what is now called Difficult) chart was created to prepare you for the Heavy (Expert Chart) which contains the same riffs but at longer intervals and far more often. So I don't go by the number rating system when it comes to these old school boss songs because it causes you to overthink it. The basic chart doesn't contain the small bits of stream, but the standard chart is meant to INTRODUCE you to them so that you can then build your way up to the next level up. If we are going off the newer number rating system, I would only recommend taking on this chart if you are comfortably passing most 11s and delving into regular-paced 13s already. It's a boss song and isn't meant to be beginner-friendly or even beginner-paced. It is paced correctly given what is to come in that Expert chart. I will admit that it's one of the harder level 12s but those sequences definitely belong in this 12 because of the song that it is.
@@neferazure You are right in a way but even i dont see sequences like that too often in a 13 (Max 300 Super Difficult is one of the only examples). These are the kinds of steps you'd see in 14s and in a way, this is why I do stand in believing that this is a 13 chart.
@@myppissmallbut2534 I know it's just so terrible that is in this of all charts, I sure as hell ain't spinning there. I managed though, got a red lamp 958k on it last week. It really just came down to memorizing exactly what part of the chart that was in.

Been trying to FC this song. That part, alone, trips me up. It's cross-staircase-staircase-cross, but I'm too winded by that point to know that.
