that is a great storage addition! you can never have too much storage space.
Yes, and its lightweight. You can get beef-ier boxes, but they weigh a lot. For the Trail, its reasonably sized and priced. We like it and a quick install, too.
I got the Jemco but I like this one a little better because of the top storage
This one is a bit more lightweight, but its solid and more secure in the latching. The Polaris one was a bit weak and would want to pop open. This one fits well and I can store items on top, chainsaw, etc..
There's an aluminum exhaust guard on the inside right one blocking the lock-n-ride from being fully seated resulting in the Kimpex not sitting flat, how did you solve that?
I don't think I had the same issue with my lock and ride. I have all 4 seated, but once I can take a pic or two and post, I will try if you want to email me at michael at the beaten trail dot net. I have to change my plugs and oil again soon, so i might have it open this weekend. We will check!
Are you able to fit 2 full size helmets in it? I’m stuck between the kimpex or the jemco one
I would have to say No on 2 helmets. They did state they could fit one. I can confirm one could fit (of course, mine is full of tools and equipment (another episode on that soon.) Unless its a smaller non-full sized helmet or maybe a youth helmet or two, I don't see how you could, unfortunately.
That’s what I was figuring, I don’t always carry 2 but I was wanting the option too if I needed along with spare belt, some tools and a small cooler. Thanks for the info!
My Polaris one has popped out on some "whoops" as well
Oh no! Thankfully with my original 51L polaris box, I heard and felt it since it was full of tools, but it was scary since I hadn't tightened the lock n rides properly.
