To be completely fair no one would win in a battle to the death, considering asriel has infinite HP and chara has determination and the ability to reset and come back to life, tbh no one would win, it'd be a never ending battle as asriel would keep killing chara over and over again and she would just reset, as in the game we didn't beat Asriel but he gave up and gained consicousness and didn't want to destroy the world, otherwise it would have been an infinite never ending battle.
Technically no, whoever has more DETERMINATION can nullify those powers and use them, in addition to the fact that Asriel has the ability to absorb souls, I do not use it with the Frisk Pacifista because this version could be resisted, being the version with the highest DETERMINATION of the character. On the other hand you're right, no one in Undertale can harm Asriel.
Asriel doesn't have infinite HP, he has 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 HP with 9999 DEF and 9999 ATK according to game files, so he's technically not invincible, but it would take a very long time for Chara to win if we were talking just a fight of brute power, however Chara can erase the world and survive said erasure, could Asriel survive it?

Actually Chara possesses you when you face Asgore. The proof is you losing control and not even needing to select fight to kill him or later Flowey. Also I do believe your actions influence Chara who actually wishes to help you until you start going genocidal. It gets to a point that Chara goes insane, thinks murder is good, kills you, and erases the timeline. Technically there are still other possibilities as to what happened. Since we don't get all the information, Chara could be good and did that at the end to stop the genocide (that would mean the ending dialogue from Chara is an act). Anyways the point is that one should remember the difference between fan AU's and what we know from Undertale. Just thought I'd put my two cents into the conversation. God bless you!
