I grew up on the 6666, my dad was one of Boot's best friends. I laughed when he was talking about what people wear, the last time I knocked on his he answered it in underwear and a t shirt with his boots and a hat on. Love you, Boots
He reminds me of my dad. He loved his cattle. He was respected by all his friends. There was never a short day. And many of them were helping his neighbors. He’s been gone 2 years now. And I miss him so much. Sad but I will never be half the man he was.
This guy is the genuine article of a Cowboy and I wish I could go right now and spend a week or two with him I could learn something from him in the time and he would tell me about the old days and I never forget a good story
Well i 've always liked old people had a friend named Wilmer i was 21 yrs went on a fishing trip tp canada with him & 2 of his buddies great memory, good time. I like Boots. Now I'm one those old guys & I'm not quitting either
Damn, this old construction worker used to wannabe cowboy walks just like that. Salt of the earth, at 63, I'd still do my best to learn what this man does.
Moses Issom O’neal is a man that I found in my family that was one of the men that moved his family from England the start of all the O’Neal’s here today boots looks a lot like Moses
Perhaps the most interesting man alive. If you haven’t already, check out the podcast he did with Dale Brisby- Rodeo Time episode #70. It’s an incredible look into the history of this legendary cowboy.
The man shoeing the horse was using a hoof stand and cradle that my good friend and horseshoer Billy Williams invented. Flip it one way and it is a cradle to hold the foot as shown and flip it the other way and it is a hoof stand to finish the feet.
Did cowboy work for a while mending fences. Loading cattle to. Sell. Giving brucaloseoes shots. With a head gate. Hauling hey for winter,, pitching hey in,the barn. , Puting in post and gates. Etc,, Didn't pay much but I liked it,,,
Its a great view into the past... but remember... contribution to america and our future is minimal... hes a great history... but he's been left behind...

Cowboys usually only take their hat off for one thing and that is not very often.
