This spectacular place is located in Tamhini ghat, Maharashtra and is called as Iznai Point by locals. This point with exceptional view is located at approximately 162 km from my house in mumbai.
I prefer the route from Khopoli Imagica- Pali- Patnus- GMCKS Arhatic Yoga Ashram. You can search for GMCKS Arhatic Yoga Ashram in Google Maps to reach here.
For this trek, I've a local in touch. Prior coming here I call up Amit Gore (Local). so once I reach here, we start the trek. Its approximately 45 mins for me one way.
Once you reach at the Iznai Point, I'm sure you will be mesmerised to see the Devkund Waterfalls and Ring Waterfalls. This place is worth coming again and again.
The trail is little bit slippery in initial phase but post the rock cut steps, the trail is manageable.Be careful at this place.
This route is called as Savlya Ghat. And it was the route for locals or travellers to get down the ghat to visit konkan shore or old towns like Mangaon, Kolad, and Pen etc.

Please be prepared with preventive measures for Mosquito bites. I would suggest you to come completely covered. Avoid shorts.
There aren’t any hotels immediately at the trek starting point. So would suggest to carry your own food.
The surrounding here is trash free so maintain its beauty. Carry waste back to be dumped in proper place.
