Considering jojo’s own audience is still kids and she’s 20 shows you all that you need to know. She isn’t distancing herself from having a much younger audience it’s the only thing keeping her relevant. Jojo said that she understood when she turned 18 that she had to be more careful with fan interactions. She fully understands the power dynamic when a minor is befriended by a adult that they idolize. It is not an appropriate relationship and never will be. So a couple of sisters of 24 and 28 befriended a 12 year old. The videos she mentions with Colleen, she also did with Rachel, many of them was not appropriate at all for a minor to participate in. It is mind boggling how she still does not see this, as a 20 year old. Grooming is strong.

I am not saying that Colleen groomed Jojo. However, I always thought it was so weird that Colleen was close friends with a child and included her in celebrations along with other adults as if she was a peer. What I think the problem is, is that Colleen enjoys being childlike. She enjoys gossiping like we did as teenagers, even bullying to an extent, but she never regarded that she these kids are not her peers. She wasn't considering what was appropriate and inappropriate behavior because it was fun for her to be able to act immature with them. She doesn't just send provocative material to her adult friends, she sent them to 14 year old children (a felony in the United States.) I don't want to personally analyze your relationship with Colleen, or the Ballingers. But what Colleen and Trent have done is very public record, and who did that? Themselves. It is mind boggling how she still does not see this, as a 20 year old. Grooming is strong.

The worst part about this interview is how painstakingly obvious it is that she has been manipulated and weaponized by Collen just like so many other children. Adam and other young fans were weaponized against Josh during the divorce, the weenies group chat was weaponized against Adam when he spoke out in 2020. Very public record of Colleen's predatory actions. Who does she have to thank for that coming to light? Not her victims, not those around her, not even you, Jojo, it's her own fault. She has done this to herself, has constantly exacerbated her own issues. When she gets a divorce, she doesn't just trauma-dump on her friends, she's divulging information to children online. She doesn't just send provocative material to her adult friends, she sent them to 14 year old children (a felony in the United States.) She has even admitted this, per Trisha Paytas, whom since Colleen has lost all credibility of her own accord, has ironically been the most truthful creator in this situation. I don't want to personally analyze your relationship with Colleen, or the Ballingers. But what Colleen and Trent have done is very public record, and who did that? Themselves. Not these children you think have the potential to somehow gang up on an adult like that. If you are getting ganged-up on by children in your 30s, I'd argue that you need a total mental readjustment and new mindset. I hope what they have done (and so publically) at least sits with you. I used to love Colleen too.

I feel for Jojo. She was forced to be a grown-up too early. Therefore it is not surprising, but still sad to learn that she supports Colleen. Colleen befriended Jojo, as a grown-up, while Jojo was still underage. Most likely in same dynamic in real life, as she did with minors in those chat rooms. Unfortunately this also cement what most have speculated, that Colleen still does not find what she did wrong. I wish you would have grilled her more, I wish that she would snap out of it.
