But does this take into account that illuvium only gets the portion of revenue that they own ILV for compared to the market (assuming they then sell their rev dis)
I guess since the price of ILV is pushed up by the revenue distribution then when they sell their portion it is more than the original chunk of revenue would have been if we assume not all stakers sell their portion
Subscription model doesn’t really work imo but it does make a battle pass model make more and more sense. The BP is the way imo, just has to be balanced.
it was kind of worrying how often i heard "this would work great in web2" makes me wonder why make the move, maybe theres a reason web2 isn't converting to 3
Yes, the f2p land is a Tier 4 test land, and you can't sell your fuel, but you can do missions to earn points. To sell your fuel, you need to buy land (T1-T4). I am a T1 owner, and I can say that it is prolonged and laborious. I would recommend to buy a T3 land.
You just need to make a fun game, then players want to spend money in the ecosystem. Secondary market fees are the way to go.-> Play to own. Not play to earn. First make a fun game, players want to own assets and pay the fees for it. We will see it happen over the next year play out.
That's all good, but the game just isn't that immersive an experience for me. Repetitive gameplay with constant grinding.. When I hear that I have to pay for it, for every run.. I don't care if this model works or not, I'm not going to pay money to waste my time grinding, thanks. Good luck with this approach, but I have great doubts that it will be sustainable
The game is the highest production value crypto game, one of the best Crypto games overall. But for some reason, this is not on Axia infinity levels.... YET. I love your previous video on the player-base calculations " ua-cam.com/video/n1KnNA9oRxg/v-deo.html " i think the player base has not grown that much, and is closer to ten thousands then hundred thousands. During launch i think you actually were the most "interacted with" streamer but you even had not over 100 viewers (other twitch streamers had their view counts clearly boosted by bots but almost no interactions). Do you really think the numbers in this video are somewhat probable ? I hope you are right, at least you made great content.
I love the game and think the ecosystem they created is near perfect! ❤

Great breakdown! Thanks!

A battle pass and subscription are interchangeable in my mind. But I guess a battle pass isn't an autorenew

if there is no money after each pvp win. Ilv is not even noticed by crypto people. don't dream about traditional players.
Hahaha its certainly hard to encourage the P2E farmers
Naaaaaah I'm out
solid video, makes alot of sense!
Do I have to own a land so I can sell some of my fuels? I'm new in this game

@vladvlad5161 thank you so much

As soo as I heard free to travel I was out. That would make land useless.

illuvium is just bad game overall. Gameplay is stale, boring, poorly optimized.
The game is bad the hype was too high but you get bored really fast...
