In my police academy we were showed the scene where Clementine pulls over a drunk cowboy. They didn't know it was a from Reno 911. The whole skit was filmed with dashcam.
I was in Reno flipping a house years ago and the meth house next door was raided, there were cops everywhere and me and my boss were outside watching. I leaned over too my boss and whispered “should I tell them I love there show” one of the cops said “what was that?” And before I could say anything my boss told them what I said and they immediately started laughing it was awesome Reno pd is great
Thomas Lennon and the Reno crew are unrecognized comedy geniuses. And I didn't realize just how good they were until revisiting the show. When I was in high school and watching it on TV, I just took it for granted. The bog standard drivel on Comedy Central today really puts things in perspective.
Thomas is a legend. To my knowledge I am the most accurate Lt. Dangle cosplayer in the world. Thomas actually responded to my questions in regards to the costume so I could keep it as authentic as possible. Sadly I now have Parkinsons so if you ever wondered what Michael J Fox would be like as a cop...
One of my favorite shows. Really threw me when I first saw episode one. Just crazy funny show. Great cast and guests Steed was a hoot! Thanks for the comedy and Reno PD’s help.
I wonder if the creators of Reno 911! know that their fan base would like to watch ALL of the footage they have shot - not just the pieces that made up the episodes - and more than what we get on the DVD - We want ALL OF IT - ALL OF IT. Let us watch it!!
I saw a casting back in the day and I totally sent in my info. It ended up being for the dancer that had the ping pong balls stuck up her...I’m sure I couldn’t actually pull that character off so..guess it’s good I didn’t get an audition
@Kelly California there was a contest where you would be flown to Reno and win 5000 dollars I said just give me the money there was also a cop that looked like deputy jones. So much tourist thought he was a street performer and would take pictures with him
I always think of the real footage of that officer running away from the naked man, I'm watching it thinking it was like a cut scene from Reno 911 or something.
Stockton is a ghost town it’s so quiet I’ve never seen a city that had a big city vibe feel like an old western boomtown I swear I saw some tumbleweed roll past
Remember when Trudy shot herself in the butt with a taser and Dangle tried to suck the prongs out with his mouth and when it didnt work he yelled DAMN IT 🤣🤣🤣
I live in Reno, the places you guys film look way worse than Reno. Plus there's palm trees in the show. I don't think I've ever seen one palm tree here. I love the show though.
Alot of the rural scenes were shot in Agua Dulce and Acton north of Santa Clarita, in L.A. County. The more city-like scenes were in Carson, California. I also read some stuff was shot in Oregon Ironically, only snippets for the montage was actually in Reno.
Glorfinniel North Hollywood too. I’ve spotted many places I recognize from the valley. When Clemmie is talking to sugardaddy69, trying to bust him, that’s San Fernando Rd and Sunland Blvd.
I live in Reno, not only is the perfect town to pick but the cops have genuinely had a chip on their shoulder since the show came out. They enforce harder because of it lol.
I've lived in Reno my whole life I'm 43 born@raised here... I really thought this whole time they created the show based on our town because they really found out that the police dept here and in our neighboring town Sparks . The police really are jokes here there all a bunch of clowns .
Agreed! I always figured they must have gotten pulled over here and after talking to a couple friends who’ve also had run ins with washoe sheriffs and decided that it’s comedy gold
I lived in Reno half a year...the drunkest person I ever met there was a cop....that was bothering me while I was playing video poker...in a gas station....while I was sipping a beer...that you can buy in a Reno gas station...he may have been just getting off duty...
Loved the show , sucks it went away , now it sucks again it's on the app channel...can't get it to work. So hoping someone puts them in youtube. Laughed my ass off every episode and died when movie came out and they kept running cop cars into each other in parkn garage.
Dangle finally got out rehab for his Heroin and sex addiction problems, hopefully he can stay clean long enough to shoot some more Reno 911 episodes, its been many years since he went on his first bender and got the show cancelled. Stay Clean Thomas, your stronger than the dope man !
Some cops suck. Most of them are pretty chill. And this is coming from someone who has been harassed several times for no reason at all. Still, the majority are decent people.
For everyone who finds distaste in the format of Quibi. Quibi being unpopular is the reason a show like this is able to succeed. Think about how much backlash this show would get on a major tv network. It would absolutely offend sensitive people who cannot find humor in the mockery.
Hello I absolutely love the show the funniest clip is the Lottery they thought they had one which there was a misprint so funny and the guy with the six kids and a young Pregnant wife to much 😃 I have a favorite but I love them all 😃 😃 😃
They need to put it somewhere people can watch it, that Quibi app is a hot turd. I have a 40" TV, why the fuck are you trying to make me watch on my 5" screen? Plus the lag/stutters during video.... I'm going to wait to watch the new ones until they are on a bigger screen.

I guess there's a place for everything and I hope you are able to recognize that. People are here for a light-hearted few minutes of comedy as well as insight to a show that they appreciate, not preaching. You turn off the people you're trying to reach. I mean the killing of the dog in the comedy show that's used as a training video, is done so to get people to not just take the word of just one individual but to explore things a little further, so that there's not a chance of a killing. Get some! 😅
😅
I've lived in Reno since 1990...many of us love you and the show.
just knowing people think this stuff is real makes it all worth it.
The mustaches are strong in this video
Typically mustaches like that get you placed on some kind of watchlist.

Same for me, but with The State
He needs to be joe exotic in something
Genius
He already did that on Colbert.
Brilliant
No one should praise Joe exotic or remember his name
💯
The best episode was the lottery winners when they printed thousands and they all thought they won. Pure classic!
I watched parks and rec and the office again now im on Reno 911 and it blows them away by alot!
The dancing cowboy is Reno 911’s funniest moments . The best dui ever!
Thomas is a legend. To my knowledge I am the most accurate Lt. Dangle cosplayer in the world. Thomas actually responded to my questions in regards to the costume so I could keep it as authentic as possible.

Lt. Dangle has the most glorious mustache 😍
thomas is sucha nice guy. Super cool
I'm still laughing from the Reading Ron skits🤣🤣
My favorite show out of all TV shows. Hilarious!
"Just say the real thing in a weird way"
Sounds like they were taking comedy cues from Norm Macdonald.
I wish it wasn't on quibi.
short episodes kinda ruined the story aspect of the show
@Notthefather oh because of covid?
Your wish is granted.
It is on HBO Max
The new season is on Roku channel which is free btw
He's so cute. And when they'd do PSAs, it was hilarious the way they'd look at the cue cards.
He sounds just like the guy from Reno911
I can't tell if its that one that wore the tight shorts or not maybe it's his brother
I live in RENO now and I love watching the show...just to see if I recognize anything!

Did Mayor Hernandez get re-elected?
Lol only in Reno could you tell a cop "love your show" without being detained.
I would had love to have had more seasons
At least until I die…

That scene was so funny with the dog
I'm in law enforcement... I'd hate to say it but Reno 911 is a more accurate portrayal of American cops than I'd like to admit.
I always think of the real footage of that officer running away from the naked man, I'm watching it thinking it was like a cut scene from Reno 911 or something.
And that's what makes the show so funny. Every dept has a Weigel or a Junior or a Clemmy.

How come I never see Scott Rogowsky and Borat at the same place at the same time?
That must have been a fun interview!!;)
'Not phoning it in' some most certainly did, 'Jones' was the worst.
