Thank you for the glimpse of old downtown Marysville at the beginning of the video. I grew up there and it was nice to see it before it all got torn down in the late '80s to make way for the Town Center Mall. IMHO, if Marysville would have been smart they would have preserved that area and turned it into a historical district like downtown Snohomish or Fairhaven up in Bellingham. The mall has always been kind of a flop.
Thanks for sharing. I used to drive this frequently. Brings back good memories. Some businesses are still where they were then, Thank You for the walk down memory lane.
There is still a lot of the same places. But some did get demolished. There are some high rises there now and a WSU campus is located there shortly after coming off the bridge heading into Everett.
Royal Fork @ 14:12
I remember the Royal Fork on 4th and state in Marysville

Wow massive memory blast, thank you
Love these old videos of places I lived at the time!
I ate at that royal fork more than a couple of times. Surprisingly there is still a number of businesses that still are located there.

Did some of places get demolished or preserved?
Quite a few buildings are still around, not the same retailer in them though.
