What is this quality? | SHF Trunks review

I review Super Saiyan Trunks: the Boy from the Future by S.H. Figuarts. This Dragon Ball Z figure looks fantastic, but it has its issues. Is this Trunks good enough to look beyond the quality control?

I got lucky with mine. No loose legs, arms stay on well enough. Only problem i had was the peg for the scabbard belt would pop out but that was an easy fix. Its a shame how bad the QC was considering how popular this version of Trunks is.

The boy from the future is Future Gohan in the thumbnail of this video anyways I’m just going to remove this figure from my Amazon Wishlist don’t mind me 💀

I have a few hundred figures and of all the quality issue it’s the least important and easiest to fix. Take nail polish, put it on the joint, wait for it to dry, put back the arm, boom done problem fixed.

I actually collect the Dragon Ball model kits instead of the figures. I enjoy building models, and Bandai reissues them regularly.

I think they mistaked Trunks for Future Gohan.

to be honest this figure isn't as bad as a lot of reviewers say, the leg is a little wobbly but it doesn't affect the articulation or making the figure stand, the arm easily pops out probably to easily attach the sword holster, but it never pops out unintentionally.

i picked him up from barnes, and thankfully he doesn’t seem to have any issues except the peg for the sheath strap. i also got into the figure-rise line and i have ssj trunks on preorder.

Saw your Goku Black video and started checking out the rest of your content - this is another figure I got in on the first run and was thinking about getting the re-release and boy am I GLAD I took the time out to check out your videos. Pleasantly surprised this re-release went with the matte/flat paint job with the hair - coulda sworn there was another re-release of Trunks before this one floating around or maybe it was a 3rd party figure that had a pearlescent/shiny hair finish that I just wasn't vibing with - honestly I think the painted matte hair just evokes the washed out pale blonde SS look from the OG 90s anime and thats what I probably love the most about it.

I would love to see Teen Gohan and Trunks from the Bojack movie. Maybe some characters from the Xenoverse or parts to make your own character. Like a build-a-character figure.

I had the original SH Figuarts Trunks, which really had terrible quality control - with his torso constantly falling apart... But I upgraded to this new version recently, and it's a lot better than the original.

Me personally i like when the figures can be taken apart i just like being able to make BRUTAL deaths with my figures

seems like the qc issues on him are pretty consistent on this release, but thankfully there's been a bunch of people that's figured out some really good fixes for the bad stuff
