I like your running commentary. Your depth (no pun intended), of reef environment knowledge is great and I’m glad you’re sharing it. That reef is so healthy compared to some I’ve visited. Like Oahu and some in Mexico. The more concerned citizens the better. It’s crucial
Beautiful stuff. A family friend of mine sadly passed away last year while diving. He was a really avid diver. He did it all the time and loved it. Stay safe out there.
Sombrero reef in the keys has to be one of the coolest reefs in the Caribbean region all the fish there are chiller than anywhere else because it is so protected
I used to go to the Caymans every year for family reunions from 73 - 81. In 76 we chartered a plane to fly over Little Cayman and Cayman Brac - which were both completely uninhabited. Gliding over the reef in glass bottomed boats there as a 3 year old is where and when I fell in love with the reef. So, thank you for what you do.
Hey I love these longer videos. Seen as I have UA-cam premium I can listen and watch these while poddering around the house. I find your voice soothing as well as the snorkel noise. Hope you keep posting longer content ❤️❤️❤️
This is wonderful you guys do this for the ecosystem and environment. The big ones go to restaurants, yes less waste. There are other uses too. Small fish also add up. I would personally make homemade cat food (I do on a regular basis for my cats), or pickle it (I'm a home canner). Also small pieces could be breaded and deep fried. May take some work given the spines, but will be well worth the effort in the end. Just started watching your videos and can't get enough. The ocean is a beautiful and fascinating place we don't see unless divers like yourself share your adventures. So thank you for sharing!! 😊❤️👍
I love these longer form videos, it'd be cool to see a 1 hour no commentary one for the pure oceanic asmr, crawling over corals, looking at fish, spearing those invasive buggers.
Please don't speed up your videos (if you do?). Your vids are really satisfying to watch and the chill commentary is such a huge part of what's great about them 😁
People who complain that you catch lion fish are the same people that complain that I kill and eat rabbits here in Australia… they are a pest and they devastate the environment
Very nice footage. However, why not shoot in typical landscape mode so this can be watched on monitors & TV's? A phone can be turned easily horizontally.
Fascinating videos and explanation. Curious, how is the lionfish extermination going? I mean i see you, and there are likely others, who take em out, but in terms of the greater population, is it making a difference? Thank you in advance
Just recently starting watch and heard you metion you can eat them. What do they taste like? Ps Brain coral are called that because they read books at night and have quiet and careful internal dialog. It's name is William.
Will a short be done comparing images of the reef taken by National Geographic? I didn't even know they did such a thing and would like to hear what you would want to say about it.
Big groupers, moray eels, larger scorpionfish, sometimes sharks. The most viable candidates in the Caribbean to become their predators are groupers, that's why we must protect them. And also we must protect them anyways.
Your my favorite Lion fish assassin by far. And your respect and knowledge for the ocean and it's creatures is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Love watching these guys getting picked off! Looks like so much fun
This guy knows everything under the sea.. lol . . Such a Great video.

Takes me back to the year I spent diving around Okinawa. I have never seen anything so beautiful and full of life that I did diving there.
Breathtaking Beauty🙂!! Thank You For Protecting Our Marine Life, And For Letting Us Watch Along The Way 🙂.

omg that strawberry sponge was amazing 🤩 never seen em
Awesome in so many ways!

What do you mean uninhabited? People have lived on both islands for a long time 😂

I´m totally agree, so keep it coming champ!

Small ones could also be left on seabed to let native fauna to reclaim what lionfish took from them.

Amazing water...I came for a fix of your quick-draw shooting ;)
He's the best I've seen so far. Head shots galore.
Super cool
Little Cayman was one of my favorites.

5:35 that’s a permit, a rare sight on the reef if it’s not spawning season. Pompano are migratory and only live in water below the 70s
Videos are fun to watch thank for making them
These videos are so relaxing to watch. Few questions. Can you show how your spear works and are you related to Edd Sorensen?

BOOM 💥

What sling system do you recommend?
Just recently starting watch and heard you metion you can eat them. What do they taste like?
Ps Brain coral are called that because they read books at night and have quiet and careful internal dialog. It's name is William.
Do you ever build up an immunity to their toxin. I remember when I surfed after a good while jellyfish stings hurt very little. Does this happen here?
❤
Where are you selling them now that Lionfish restaurant has closed?
Will a short be done comparing images of the reef taken by National Geographic? I didn't even know they did such a thing and would like to hear what you would want to say about it.
What is the lion fish's natural predator in the southern Pacific?
Big groupers, moray eels, larger scorpionfish, sometimes sharks. The most viable candidates in the Caribbean to become their predators are groupers, that's why we must protect them. And also we must protect them anyways.
Can you show you clean the lion fish
Also, according to something I read, there's two species of lionfish invading, not just one.
they taste great apparently
What kind of spearfish weapon is this?
Is it weird that I knew what some of these critters were because of Endless Ocean Luminous?
What the price of 1 lbs/kg of that fish in your area? because google gave me some very big range like 10-50$ per kg or 30-50$ for fillet
Your containers should be oval shaped.
