This is my favourite track on the Pinocchio soundtrack, but all the music is great, really. It might be due to the music that I have long considered it to be my favourite Disney animated film.
Monstro: "Ahh-- Ahh-- Ahh--" Geppetto: "It's no use! Here it goes!" Monstro: "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Pinocchio: "We made it!" Monstro: "Ahh-- Ahh-- Ahh-- CHOO!!! CHOO!!! CHOO!!!" Geppetto: "Look! Now he _is_ mad!"
@James Coady This movie never scared me at all while I was toddler and younger ages in the 2000s era. Shortly after, I was born on September 23rd, 1997.
@MrDisneyfan101 YES! They so should! Imagine how many people in the audience would shit themselves during the scenes where Monstro's jaws are coming straight at you.
This scene was so intense... so insane. The music alone was enough to creep the living hell out of anyone, then you had the deep, demonic growls coming from that whale. Buckle up, kiddos.
Those "demonic growls" sound so human, and yet, not even darth vader could produce a voice that deep and distorted, I guess what I'm trying to say is that monstro's voice falls into the uncanny valley. I can definitely see how my younger self wouldn't want to watch the whole movie more than once.
Huh? Where's the music for when Geppetto(however his name's spelled)is revealed to be alive and well, but then Jiminy finds Pinocchio seemingly dead? I thought that was in here, too......
I agree. Comparing this with my Disneyland record 33 and a third that I've had since the 50s of Pinocchio soundtrack there's a lot of things that are missing. Or are skipped over believe it or not. At the end of this should be a splash of water there is none.
I like how a nostalgic animated fantasy movie adds in some epic action in the final chase.
It is one of my favorite Disney 2-D animated classic movies with amazing climatic sequences.

Happy 84th Anniversary, Pinocchio!!!
84 years of Pinocchio.
Masterpiece. Very realistic and once again always high on disturbance and tension. Monstro and this music fit very well. 5/5!
My favorite scene in Pinocchio.
I love this movie

Today is the 84th Anniversary of Pinocchio.
Pinocchio just turned 84 years old today.
One of my favorite scenes from Pinocchio.
2:16-2:38
Pinocchio: “Father! Father! Father!”
Geppetto: (weakly) “Pinocchio, swim for shore, swim for shore.”
Pinocchio: “Hang on, Father!”
Geppetto: “Save…yourself…”
Love the music.
1:55 lovely tone
This piece of music should be named, "Monstro Is Pissed."
Matthew Miller but the word pissed didn’t exist back then
just tellin ya
Gepetto: We're going back!Pinocchio: No, we'll make it! Faster! FASTER!
Monstro: "Ahh-- Ahh-- Ahh--"
Geppetto: "It's no use! Here it goes!"
Monstro: "CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
Pinocchio: "We made it!"
Monstro: "Ahh-- Ahh-- Ahh-- CHOO!!! CHOO!!! CHOO!!!"
Geppetto: "Look! Now he _is_ mad!"
Great music 🎶
& I thought the one 4 the transformation thing was creepy tho if anything

Monstro : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Jiminy Cricket: "Gesundheit."
I love the music just as monstro rams into the cliff

CeraisianAlchemist oh yeah I was scared when I saw this part
Please pay attention to the music since 30 seconds 0:30. This "obstinato" is the same of "Jaws" by John Williams.
I wonder if Steven Spielberg and John Williams were inspired by this.
@@ryanschrafel9576 I didn't notice that.

@@monitorlizardkid8253 Monstro was basically just Terminator or Smaug as a gigantic larger-than-life whale of a monstrosity...
Edward Plumb co-composed this section of the score, and it was all he did for Pinocchio.
Groovy
Imagine if they made this in live action
Doubt they'll ever.
