The biggest lesson I learned: Look at people's actions, not their words. And if someone likes you, you will know it. A man will definitely want to get you 'off the market'. If you're confused by their behavior at all, 99% of the time, they are not into you.

Correct. Correct. Correct. When a man likes you, you will KNOW. So, like you said, if you’re confused, it’s because he doesn’t like you. This is not necessarily because of something being wrong with you, it could just be something like he’s not ready. Whatever the reason is, what you should know is that the answer is no (red light), which means you stop and go in another direction, not forward.

This shook me to the core. We sometimes give so much of ourselves to someone and keep creating void inside of us without realising that the person isn’t going to stand up to our level to fill those voids back. This is so scary to realise. Thank you so much for this reminder! Moreover, I love your voice💛

I think I'm guilty of this and the feeling the person made me feel. The feeling of being wanted, needed or desired and the connection. I have learned that it has something to do with my co-dependency and attachment issues but boy it is so difficult to go through it and make myself understand and break the pattern.

I didn't realize I was an empath until I watched this video. It took someone ghosting me after months of me clinging on their potential before I was forced to let go. This video is helping me make so much sense of my behavior and given me the tools to grow through this. Thanks so much

Thank you so much Bianca.. I was stuck in a toxic friendship with someone who could not love me for 3 years.. He was my bestfriend, the love of my life, my partner, but i caref too much & he cared too little. He was not into girls and he was depressed. But no, instead of fighting for himself by going to a psychologist, he says “Why should i? I have you” instead. He took advantage of my empathy, but never followed my advice. I realized that i was the only one fighting, the one making the plans, the one who gets stood up, the one who showers them with love, the one who feels worthless because he never tells me that he cares. In fact, when i confessed my feelings, he said he does not care, does not have a reason to keep talking to me, does not see anything special in me, and usually i would gulp the pain & empathize with his numbness phase of depression. But this time, i walked away. And it was the hardest thing to do as an empath. But i did it. If you’re reading this, so can you. I believe in you. Please, fight for yourself.❤️

Oh reeeeally Renata, i KNEW i would find you here 😠..... So you think our relationship was "TOXIC" huh?... you were only "In Love" with my potential were you? 😲😲😲...
      Well guess what!!!...
IT'S YOUR FAULT WE SPLIT UP!!!! IT WAS YOOOOU WHO INTRODUCED ALL THE TOXICITY INTO OUR RELATIONSHIP. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE VOICE OF REASON WHEN THINGS GOT HEATED BETWEEN US... YOU NEVER CONTRIBUTED ANY KIND OF POTENTIAL HEALING TO OUR RELATIONSHIP IN TIMES OF TROUBLE AND STRESS, AND THATS WHY WE HAD TO STOP SEEING EACHOTHER... I KNEW YOU NEVER LOVED ME RENATA. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL WAS REALLY JUST A FREIGHT TRAIN COMING MY WAY, BUT I ALWAYS LET MY OPTIMISM BLIND ME FROM SEEING THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER.....
      Goodbye Renata. 😭

Sometimes we see how perfect and sweet and kind this person is, and when they don't love us back it makes us feel the reason is that we're not enough and we're "less than", that's what keeps us stuck. But the reality is that not everyone will like you, just as we don't fall in love with every person on earth, no matter how awesome they are, it's not their fault that they're simply not your cup of tea. One person might love mint chocolate another might hate it. You can't force someone to change their taste out of your own insecurities.
Having been in both ends of the dysfunctional dynamic(being with someone who makes me feel suffocated vs. needy), what I can say is that we all deserve someone who doesn't try to change who we are AND doesn't make us feel like we need to change who we are.

Thank you for speaking the truth. Holding onto someone who doesn't love you the way you deserve is a form of self betrayal. If we truly love ourselves and see our worth we wouldn't settle for less than what we deserve, and it's up to us to decide what we need and want, not letting others decide for us.

Empaths attract narcissist a lot of the time because they are seeking something in them and the narcissists are seeking something in the empath. I am an empath who has healed a lot of my wounds! I was married to a narcissist for three decades and recently divorced him. This very act started my healing process. I'm on the mend!!!

It is a very interesting topic this one.
I kept overlooking signs of emotional drainage and lack of reciprocity because the sum of his good parts was always greater than his bad days. Even now, I still struggle to hold him accountable for his hurtful words and actions, even though I can recognize I was always trying to fill his needs and, for that matter, I was the one who would be left frustrated with thoughts such as "am I good enough?", "is my love/care/Escort not enough?"

    Hi Bianca,
Just came across this episode last week, and decided that now, today, this moment. . . was the time to watch this episode. After hanging on your every word, I NOW realize, that I am without a doubt an empath.
To tell you the truth I feel as if it's a curse. A rabbit hole I'm unable to get out of. What you describe is me to a "T". I understand what you said, and why. I also heard what you said about what we, as empaths must do in order to be happy and to find "that someone". But there in lies the problem Bianca. . . I don't know how to do that. And yes, you're right. . . I'm scared to death and almost convinced that I will probably end up being alone. I've almost resolved myself into believing that because after being taken for a fool 2 times in the past year, I think that's probably the direction my life will go.
And before you say it, I am NOT being negative, not at all. I'm just being realistic is all. I really do hope I find someone I can spend the rest of my days with but I'm beginning to doubt that is going to happen. If you can offer me some help on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
This video is well over a year ago so I doubt you will even see this comment of mine but I thought I would take a chance in case that someday you take another look at this episode and see my post here.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am regularly watching your videos here. And I find your relaxation stuff you do really helps me. Keep up the great work eh :)
    Mike

Very good advice for young women who are living as if life is a fairytale. Thx fairytale hasn't been fully examined like what was it like when they got married. They fail to look at real life relationships like those of their parents, aunts and uncles or their siblings and friends. Plus they are too focused on the euphoria of relationships when they should be spending more time learning to love themselves.

Dang. The whole bit from 13:29 to 14:45 really described my last relationship. It's really nice to hear it spelled out that way. It helps me realize on not just a logical but an emotional level that she was toxic for me, I did everything I could, and I really should have ended it sooner. Yeah, it can be hard to be sure when you're _in_ the relationship and trying to love them honestly despite their flaws, but I really saw the signs -- her not admitting or working on the problems we discussed, the things I said I needed her to work on. I already realized all that logically, but having it worded in a way that helps me realize it emotionally lets me internalize it and truly feel and believe it much better.
    Thank you!

It's always been hard for me to let go of relationships. Especially my 2nd wife. 12 years. Now many years later, i struggle to be black into another real relationship.

Wow i really needed to hear this. Thank you.
I think the problem today is that like u said, we focus way too much on facade and forgets that showing our weak side and showing your flaws can be both a open form of communication and something that also can be charming and cute.
Take forexample being clumsy, which is being flawed in a way that isnt toxic and can be really charming.
Jenna Hamilton from Awkward is a great example of someone who is what we called perfectly flawed. Someone who isnt afraid of showing her imperfections and isnt afraid of expressing her sensitive side. 🙂
Moral of the story : be more like Jenna Hamilton 😂😅😅

I was just joking with my friend last week that I've been talking to a guy on the phone and it seems to be going okay...BUT...I'm always the one to initiate conversation. I told her I can't keep playing both sides of the volleyball court for very much longer. She laughed and said True!...That's how it feels to keep reaching out and then keep the momentum going. Then I just stop...then he starts up texting/calling four or five months later. Next time we speak I will just describe this analogy for him and ask if he would please help to keep up the interaction or else let's just please drop it; I'm not going to continue to pick up the stray "serve' he throws at me. Our communication either needs to keep up the energy, or else you're a great guy but please stop randomly reaching out Thank You So much for understanding.

What if that someone is actually the one feeding you the "fantasy" and "potential" and giving you what to expect bc that someone lives in a bubble than the real world bc thats his way of living. And if you comment about in a real world perspective he will consider it as negative feedback, or i have so much little faith on him, or i dont trust him...

The funny thing about it is, if these text messages were the other way around, I'd be saying the same thing to you, understanding comes from 360' of knowledge. You want me to understand you without a mutual understanding which is 190' ie one sided.

You were duped. Every relationship needs time. Rushing in and giving everything before knowing someone is immature. Like moving in with your sex partner while you are still in limerence is a very bad move for women. They seem desperate and men lose respect for them because they seem stupid.
