Yeah I put an annotation up about it. After recording I noticed that in the in-game menus there was a flicker. I've never seen it do that before and I couldn't re-record it.
"Classical music is not copyrighted as such" you'd be surprised. the most strikes i got was for music from composers dead over 500 years ago. apparently germans hate classical music on youtube.
I love how the fines in this game work. I was driving through an intersection, the light turned amber while I was less than a meter away, and got a red light fine.
Excerpt from SpyOne's Guide to Talking Like an American (since you asked a bit ago): The door that provides access to the engine is the "engine hood" or "hood". The cargo area at the opposite end of the car is the "trunk", and the door to it is the "trunk lid" (sometimes just called "trunk"). The part that covers the wheels is the "fender". The concrete walkway next to a road or street for pedestrian use is the "sidewalk". "Pavement" is what the road is made of. Divided by our common language.:)
Classical works are not protected by copyright but the performances are. However, it is extremely difficult to prove that a classical piece is being performed by a particular artist because the arrangement doesn't change very much. You could get a copyright strike if the piece has something in it which makes it clearly identifiable as a performance by a particular artist. It's a very low risk though.
For the radio, use NCS on UA-cam (NoCopyrightSounds). As long as you put the link if the music or the NCS channel, it's fine. You won't get done for copyright.
It's worth getting a garage in Wroclaw and upgrading that, the fuel price is cheapest there, Then when you upgrade your garage to include a fuel station, you get discounts, €1.01 a litre when you fill up there. Instead of €1.56 in the UK.
I think that speed cameras with a yellow back are placed by road safety and the ones with grey backs are placed by government., or something to that effect. One is to make you slow down the other is to collect money off you.
The turning circle of their flat-faced trucks is better than the snout-faced trucks found in the US and Australia. It helps for their narrower roads and sharp turn-ins. Also, they're a deal lighter than 'snout' trucks and have better fuel economy.
Haha thats funny squirrel you mentioned eddie stobart. Now its funny that the company where i work in holland have builded or to be honest repainted the trucks for the actual company. Yes i work in a company in holland where we respray the factory scanias for clients.
I love the engine noise. So shifting gears, engine turbo sounds and air brakes. So can you turn those up just a bit? If not, it's fine. I don't want it to drawn out your voice. But yeah, that's all.
DaSquirrelsNuts at 22:41 when you was talking about southend one sea and the 50 mph carraigeway i went down that yesterday and its working those cameras i tell you now
A cunning plan you say ? As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University ? I suggest a quiet background music - perhaps free music like Jamendo ?
You're missing something - when the video audio is music mixed with game audio and commentary, the fingerprinting algorithms will have a real hard time matching anything in the video to a copyrighted track.
Squirrel I played the War Thunder event yesterday and killed Jingles and got the well deserved 300 gold eagles and put the classical music in its better than nothing and classical music is quite good.
If that trick you're talking about is going on the opposite side to avoid red light cameras, I think Nerdcubed coined that as the unofficial 'Daniel Dodge'.
Go for it with the classical music. It's better than no music. Of course you already have a very calming voice, so it may be overkill on the calm audio. lol.
My understanding matches this: while the piece itself is no longer covered, the performers hold copyright to their performance. Like when Nike got sued because, while they had the rights to use The Beatles' "Revolution" in an ad, they didn't have the right to use a recording of The Beatles performing it. Separate copyright. I am fine with classical music, especially on longer drives, but I like when you talk to us, so talk over the music or don't play any.
Squirrel, regarding SPECS cameras. You can go a bit quicker though them. 10% + 2mph I'm told by a very well informed guy. so @70mph, would get away with 79mph, but I wouldn't try it lol
Squirrel, you should try using cruise control it makes long journeys a lot easier. Also, you should try the 'Realistic Weather Sound' and 'Faster AI Truck' mods. Enjoying your work sir.
I had annotations off or i would not of said anything, but i still listened to the end just for the audio (was playing some world of tanks, x5 weekend and all that).
I could never find the names of those songs off of War Thunder. One of them I know is from the movie The Kings Speech. I dont mind there not being any music but it would be interesting to see how it comes out with music playing also. Something like Moonlight Sanata by Beethoven would probably fit nice, or maybe some Mozart. Plus I wouldnt mind finding some more classical music I can listen to :)
Classical music sounds good to me, but many arrangements of Classical pieces are copyrighted, which could cause issues with UA-cam thinking you are using a copyrighted arrangement when you are not.
i never said it has that sound..so i put "Diesel" as an example...because Diesel(as in fuel) is the start of the Dusseldorf...so basicly the Dusseldorf is said Dieseldorf...
If you don't mind, may I suggest using Vocaloid covers of classical or rock songs? Vocaloids are Japanese synthetic vocalists, with the most famous being Hatsune Miku(pronounced hat-soo-nay mee-ku), followed closely by the twins Kagamine(pronounced ka-ga-mine) Rin & Len. they don't have a copyright for most songs(other than the ones done with supercell) and people use them to do covers of classical songs such as the Halo: Combat Evolved theme and Phantom of the Opera.
I definitely like the idea of using War Thunder music (Y), however apart from that I don't think i'd prefer to hear classical. If you could play some music that closely resembles war thunder style music though, that'd be great.
is it just me or was the vidio glitching a bit neer the start
Yep
Yes
*video
Cornish yup😂
Yup
The flickering in the video is really irritating...
I know I hate it too
I didn't realise that you
I didn't realise that*

hi
i love how you can see the water hitting the window at 32:26, but he then just proceeds to push his head out there
It really warms my heart to see so many recent comments. I see you all miss the Old Squirrel as much as I do.
;)
Yeah I put an annotation up about it. After recording I noticed that in the in-game menus there was a flicker. I've never seen it do that before and I couldn't re-record it.
You sound like the guy from 'how its made' 😂
R3 FLEX I always felt he sounded like Wheatley from portal 2
Favourite show a few years ago

+Squirrel yeah your right and I'm a subscriber I watch you every time you upload

LMFAO at Sqrl swearing in his older videos!
People who pay £125,000 in cash are definetly trustworthy. Haha
Good call on the new truck fleet. I myself have a fleet of 20 white R730 Topline Scanias, all blinged out with bull bars and lights etc
For the radio, use NCS on UA-cam (NoCopyrightSounds). As long as you put the link if the music or the NCS channel, it's fine. You won't get done for copyright.
I really enjoy this series, so relaxing!!
thanks
Cambridge is not that dull, even with the typical summer weather.

My you tube recommand me this video after 7 years. Any one who watching this video are legends 😂😂😂

I own a truck expansion company in Glasgow called s&d logistics and frankly man has being selling most and performing best

Yeah, everyone needs a bit of classical in their lives! I'm up for it!
Still here 10 years later

Absolutely enjoy classical and baroque music! Yes, please try it out.

You can even download music from "UA-cam Audio library" and play that.
If that trick you're talking about is going on the opposite side to avoid red light cameras, I think Nerdcubed coined that as the unofficial 'Daniel Dodge'.
Yes! Classical music should be great! Also use free music like the one in Magnatune
Classical music suits me
......
Same
I can, but it does mean spending time finding good ones and my time is limited
Go for it with the classical music. It's better than no music. Of course you already have a very calming voice, so it may be overkill on the calm audio. lol.
And also Green Day is a punk band. They've been around since 1988 and they still live on.
Hello from the future (to people from 6 yrs ago) I'm still watchin
Me too
Me too
"Baldric I have a cunning plan" Squirrel - ha ha haaa. Classical music is fine, mixed in with your commentary.
I like the idea of the classic music
My understanding matches this: while the piece itself is no longer covered, the performers hold copyright to their performance. Awesome video man, I wouldn't mind the music tbh :) I like some types of classical music so what ever suits you.
Chopin is awesome
Squirrel, regarding SPECS cameras. You can go a bit quicker though them. 10% + 2mph I'm told by a very well informed guy. so @70mph, would get away with 79mph, but I wouldn't try it lol
Yes for the music. Some Bach or Scarlatti would be wonderfull :)
Great video again, war thunder music would be cool. Handy tip for euro truck players is one hour is 3 real minutes!
Great video as usual Squirrel. As long as we don't miss out on your divergent commentary, play your music. Thankyou.
I miss these old sales garages, much better then the new ones.
I love the Warthunder music
I like the classical music idea.
war thunder music and other classical music sounds like a great idea :)
If you play classical music I think its a MUST that you name the piece. But I would love to hear it.
Thank you teacher! Been reading so many replys here on UA-cam it's screwing up my crammed. LOL
It's better than none...
Classical music is a go for me.
I could never find the names of those songs off of War Thunder. One of them I know is from the movie The Kings Speech. Haha, yes please this. Mars Bringer of War when transporting recycled bog roll to Lidl.
classic music!
Classical music sounds good to me, but many arrangements of Classical pieces are copyrighted, which could cause issues with UA-cam thinking you are using a copyrighted arrangement when you are not.
Yes! classical music would be awesome
Definitely!
BUT! only if you like long trips and cars/trucks etc.
I would prefer no music I think, although I love the idea of bringing a bit of classical music to the masses :)
you could use music from monstercat media, they have no problem with copyright as long as you link to them in the description
Classical music? Yes please.
Did you say Basildon? I live there and i agree, plenty of people look like bridget hahaa
Yeah put some music on it will be better because U.S. Subscribes can unwind also it's quite relaxing
You can run classic music in the backround :-)
+Squirrel I would absolutely love classical music on the videos!!!!!
You shoul definetely put some music in your Euro Truck SImulator's videos. Keep up the good work.
If you do music. Go to Jamendo for creative license music. As long as you give credit to the artist. There are a lot that can be used.
Talking about Tina and Georgia taking a 'heavy load'. Those trucker chicks ...!
Don't know if you're aware, the video is flickering? Like a tv with bad reception? Just letting you know :)
That is the lightning effect in the game...
Hey squirrel there is a channel on youtube called ByeByeCopyright and you can put that music in. and its not copyrighted. all different genres
You should really go ahead and play some classic music! Jupiter from Gustav Holst's The Planets is just incredible!
I like Pachelbel in canon D....very soothing
yeah go for it (classical music)
little classic won't kill any one
i never said it has that sound..so i put "Diesel" as an example...because Diesel(as in fuel) is the start of the Dusseldorf...so basicly the Dusseldorf is said Dieseldorf...
Im all FOR classic!
You could at least try it for one episode and see how it works out.
i have a volvo and am now going to get a scania thanks to u!!!
you can exit to the front door and scania ahas 730 bhp you will find the motor when you are at 25 level
After watching these videos I've tried out the demo and its weirdly addictive
Classical music is quite good, would be nice if you would play them quite silently in the backround while talking.
I'm not complaining bud I'm still watching it lol just wondered what was up with it
i know this is late but I play a classical instrument so I would love that idea!
ADD AWESOME BACKGROUND MUSIC
Classical sounds good

Yes classical music would be pretty cool, if there is Chopin :)
yep typical british summer raining
I ride a motorcycle, no registration on the front of the bike, I can avoid them average speed cameras :D
Traffic light camera catches people from speeding
what would be cheaper is buy loads of 3 man sheds, then you can get 3 drivers for £144K instead of an extra 2 for 144
Classical music? Why not. They are good ones and little bit of education does not hurt :-)
I live in Southend on sea and the limited road is the a127 I think
