Thing is, most people don’t care what garbage it says on the box, they want a fun game. And this is a fun game. Extremely fun. A great game for family get togethers this season!
I would say it is most like the game Pairs - just with a few special cards in it! But a standard Pairs deck also comes with the free online rules compendium where there must be 50 rules variants!
Yes I have pairs and actually meant to mention that in the video! Although i think there is one loser and many winners in pair’s and the continuous round rules is the best way to play.
We play a ton of Zilch (Iike Farkle) with our in-laws. They'll play many rounds of Zilch in a night and this is very similar - take the points or push one more time. Plays very quickly and well with 4+.
What do you do if the first (beginning) is a freeze? Keep it your self? Your out for the round or give it away? I saw a video with flip three card and it was for the player who gets it from the dealer. He can’t give the card away

@ thanks, but that isn’t a answer. I already have my answer. If the first card is a action card you play it on yourself. If you already have a number card you can give the card away
That's what I thought. It's Hit but instead of stealing cards built into the push your luck, you get take that cards to play on their turn? Sounds much worse. There is also a "No Mercy Extreme" version that adds special cards of some sort.
I like the game Push better than this (for 2-4 players), but this one can play higher player counts. I think for mass market part atmosphere's this would probably go over better than Incan Gold (even though I think Incan Gold is a better game).
@@TheGameBoyGeeks had the same feeling about Flip 7 vs Incan Gold. Just ordered Flip 7 to confirm it. About Push, I really hated the game with 6 players, I can see how it would be good with 4 or less, but I really need this type of game to play at least up to 6.

Most people don’t, but as a reviewer, we have to call out those types of shenanigans! :)

we love this game.. had a bunch of laughs
I thought this was a clickbait title for the game video... then I found out that the game box has the clickbait title itself.
Yeah I don’t do click bait :)

It's called Greed in Australia
I am thinking I'd rather play Just One with family over the holidays.
Great little game
Im thinking a house rule if you hit the same two numbers at the start then you score the total and get out
With the push-your-luck mechanism, I love "Dead Man's Draw" (or Circus Flohcati).
Surely, the "Greatest Card Game" is "Bridge"?
Dead’s man Draw is great. But not for mass market. Too many abilities for that.

This is like a totally stripped down valiant wars. That’s not a bad thing, but I prefer the theme of valiant wars.
Sounds like it really copied a lot from Hit! / No mercy by Reiner Knizia (but without the stealing points from opponents mechanic)
This is basically "Pairs" from James Ernest with special ability cards.

Both!

@ yes in Push the deck didn’t scale for player count so best with 2-4 players.
@@astod7792 agree!
