Regarding Escobar specifically, he might have been a scourge in other parts of the world, but surely he was a positive figure within Colombia itself with everything he did for the poor. It could be argued he did far more than the govt to improve the lives of many of it’s citizens with building hospitals, apartment blocks etc etc. yes, he did it to win their favour, but he still did a lot for people despite it being from ill gotten means.
Aye, but the reason he did it was to protect himself, it wasnt out of kindness.

Get former mobsters or something, a family member who probably was told nothing about the business(being a woman so she wasn't involved and being a daughter so there's no way a made guy had his daughter involved) isn't going to be a good voice for this.
This is just like the girlfriend of someone in the Getting Gotti who they list as "associate" but she wasn't.
Because I think she knows more about the mob than the average person….
