I am still listening to this song, October 14, 2020. I remember when this song came out. I was in the 9th grade at Whitted Junior High in Durham, North Carolina.
Paul was a trooper and a gentlemen up to the end. This performance was a struggle for him but he gave 1000% and did well. RIP Paul, the first Temptation to leave us.

Although I'm from the New Edition era, in my book NE is my favorite and best group but Temptations was a incredible group. I love their style, I'm not sure who their styles were but whom ever they were, they were fantastic because I have never seen the temptations looking out of pocket. They were sharp ALL the time.

No one can never dispute that however I'm from the Era of New Edition .NE is the group I grew up with. I was one of those black teenage girls from the 80s that lost my mind over NE. Any group even similar to New Edition was built of the backs of The Tempting Temptations and their dance choreographer. Not to leave out songwriters like Smokey Robinson, etc. Nobody's vocals in New Edition could touch Paul, Eddie, Otis, David and Melvin's bass was phenomenal. Not that I take much away from NE.

Paul’s having a pain crisis his body is real tense and as you see if he makes a far move he’ll quickly adjust because it hurts and you can see It in his face even though he puts on a smile he was in terrible pain and and when he did smile his teeth were clenched and he’s sweating I mean from the dancing but he’s trying to fight the pain he looks so pale you can tell it’s something wrong 🥺💔

Actually Paul was having issues with alcohol. His depression caused him to drink heavily n it showed at times that they cut off Paul’s Mic n had a friend of the group sing his parts backstage. It’s what helped Ed his life. Now Blu the bass’s he had bad pains after being shot in the legs when he saw someone stealing his car. But will say been a fan since a child of every last one of em !! tho new members I hope I get to see em one more time ha ha
