I have no idea how good he will be or if he will be a bust, but I’ll say this. I’m over 50 and been a Husker fan my whole life. I’ve seen Scott Frost and Tommie Frazier play live in Lincoln. I was at the Red/White game last weekend and I’ve never seen a QB in a Husker uniform manage the pocket and throw a pretty ball like that in my life. The potential is there but we will see. Exciting time to be a Husker fan.
The space was so large for the Detroit during the draft. The Nashville one was just Broad Street, so it was much narrower. I think the space really contributed to participation.
Nebraska may have one of the hardest defensive schemes to prepare for in college football. Think about what Raiola sees in practice everyday. That’ll prepare him for games.
