@@trippypapi8616 that's awesome yeah I'm finally doing hard mode it's way easier than I expected idk why I was blowing it out of proportion if your level gear is 100 and you have hp and def. Mods you're pretty okay and resistance for bosses! Game is so fun! I still only have the 3 story characters they have you craft but oh well!
Thank you for this explanation. I've been looking on line and a lot of other explanations some how presume that you already know this. Not helpful. But this quick and to the point explanation was exactly what I needed. Thank you!
I think that would depend on which one you use often. If the character is the one you will keep on using then I would say the character but if you like a weapon that you just use on every descendant you have then weapon would be the choice.
So, I understand this game revolves around modules, but I do have a question regarding the module reassignment: Do I just choose any random square on the grid so long as the symbols match? I keep filling in squares until none remain? Or do I have to choose specific squares. This system has never made sense to me and I am apparently the only player who does not understand this. I am too fearful of asking because people will ridicule me or laugh at me. Is my assessment correct?
Issue with doing it to the descendant is you dont get mastery XP from leveling it uo again. So is it worth it? Think im going to just unlock more decendants then do this
That is true. If you simply want to get your Mastery rank up then it's best to get new descendants and levelling up and then once you found your main then you can level up their modules using Crystallization catalyst and Energy activators. 😀
I just want to clarify something. This makes it possible so that I can use similar modules together right? If im not mistaken you can't add "similar" modules at any one time so this upgrade can remove that limitation?
No one speaks about what happens if you have multiple module pages. They apply to them but what happens if you change the secondary page to something else ? Like Luna for instance, you'd like a DPS and a Support build. Will my sockets overwrite every page regardless of which page I apply it to ?
Hello NixonAxi. With the new update sockets you place in your first page will still be copied on the 2nd and 3rd but you can now have more than one socket on each slot and allowing you to somehow have a variety of module combinations.
Question I have a theory what if before upgrading switch to a different dependent and not the high level one we all have would the only one be effected by going back to level 1 with would be low level maybe?
What if i were to... upgrade my sub module slot, would that actually increase my slots? if so by how much? and if not, do i lost half my extra capacity?
That's a good question. I haven't tried that yet. But let me try soon. What I believe is that, it will retain the extra capacity but will just have the cost of that module. 😀

The only benefit it has is for giving a few more capacity towards your modules by half. So it’s only viable for the end game content. But one of the most important to thing is if you ever use it, use it on the one you are sure you’re gonna be using for most of your game time.
Yeah it changes the mod slot type so when you equip that mod type it counts as less towards your overall mod slot capacity so you can add more mods or one more upgraded mod! It's a long term play for ultimates and you don't have to just makes you stronger in the long run! Every little bit in this game is the goal lol!
Hello @tnyeh, not exactly, but you can choose to. But if you choose to catalyze that mod first, you will get an extra 5 capacity on your total; if you catalyze the normal modules you will get half back. For example, you have a 16-capacity module. if you catalyze the same socket as with the module, you will get an extra 8. So, just a suggestion, I would catalyze the normal skill module first. 😃

Should I spend my first one on my character or my weapon?
I think that would depend on which one you use often. If the character is the one you will keep on using then I would say the character but if you like a weapon that you just use on every descendant you have then weapon would be the choice.

What are your modules for the thunder cage?
If I use it on a weapon does it work on all weapons of the same name and type like if I find a better one or something?

nver mind. I just found out it halves the module capacity consumption lol
Yes. We really just can't use the same modules. 😊
Is there a way to change them around or take out the modules for the slot?
So don't use it till building an ultimate descendant?
Use it whenever it takes awhile to get ult descendants so it’s best to use them when you can

Hello NixonAxi. With the new update sockets you place in your first page will still be copied on the 2nd and 3rd but you can now have more than one socket on each slot and allowing you to somehow have a variety of module combinations.
So basically it decreases that socket module so when I level up my gun again it increases the module capacity? Interestiiiiiiiiiiiing
So I'm confused. What's the point of starting from level one?
It really is weird. It’s the game’s way of saying, you can’t be overpowered right away, so play me more. That’s what I think is trying to tell me.
Question I have a theory what if before upgrading switch to a different dependent and not the high level one we all have would the only one be effected by going back to level 1 with would be low level maybe?
I don't think that would work. The only one that can be upgraded will be the descendant that reached level 40. 😄

Unfortunately this didn’t explain why my shock punch went from 10 to 15 after using crystalline catalyst
U've propably added a socket that doesn't match the shock punch socket type.
I agree with @sky4im193. If you use the right socket it halves the cost but it increases the cost if you placed a wrong socket on the slot.
that interaction is intended. Your shock punch adds capacity as it levels. 15 means you GAINED 5 more capacity.
